I see where you're coming from there, but what about insurance if you stack the bike or you accidentally hit another vehicle? And there's always be that feeling of 'looking over your shoulder' I do agree though, the price for owning a registered bike is horrendous, especially when you have more than one.

I didn't know you'd move to the UK?

Yeah, I found it hard to pin him down. I just couldn't seriously look into it with pictures that were taken by a record player. For me it's about a 1100km round trip roughly & I betchya that's why it's taken so long to shift as I doubt there's many BMW's over that way in relation to the rest of the country. -

So you bought it? Ahh welcome to M57TUD30 hood! Done forget to get it remapped which will give about 200kw and 600nm. I think it was Jarrod I spoke to a while back on this car he owned a restaurant. I was keen but he couldn't supply me with any details and wouldn't send us decent pics. The trademe ones looked like they were taken with a can opener. -
The 3.9 and 3.5 engines do sound bloody good IMO. Mind you most rover V8s did. I'm a sucker for a good V8.

I've seen some shockers too, ex lease, ex company but it has to be bloody hard work to get a car in that state in such a short amount of time. Some people are pigs with cars. -
GLWS. I'm betting from those pics you're in Rolleston?
-
GLWS. Hoping the rear tow hook is for Audi's secretly.
-
About that yup.

I'd buy another e39 540i in a heartbeat. Picked mine up for 2700 and was in bloody good nick. Plenty of grunt. Cheap to buy, cheap parts and reasonable on juice. Do regret selling mine.

If you're a burglar of a dealer!

5-6k with some history and a fresh WOF?
-
Yep, why don't they just put a buy now up and then have it sold from the person purchasing!
-
If it's had a CR number plate it will be ex Ministerial, VIP. If I had to buy a 7 it would be one of these. The rest can bugger off. I wouldn't call it a poverty pack having Navigation, that option combined with TV in NZ is horrendous.

Repo E90 330D for (potentially) cheap

20 would be a steal. It aint no Motorsport, this was for sale for 30k for a while here http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-640541719.htm -
Get a Samsung. They've always been best...
-
If it comes with pool cues they'd most likely be in half.
-
But Nef, it's rare as!
-
As rare as cow sh*t in NZ? No insurance on two cars is a little silly IMO.
-
Having owned a import e90 320i which I sold and had still have my e46 I'm of the opinion that the NZ new e46 is far better put together. If you do go e90, NZ new is always the best bet IMO. And performance.. 120kw and 340nm 0-100 in 8.6 versus 110kw and 200nm and 0-100 in 9 seconds for the 320i

I've just recently ditched my iPhone 4 and have gone for the samsung note 3 with charging pad. I'm finding it faster and nicer to use and the screen picture quality is epic IMO.

A lot of the other cars in his listings have been on trademe for some years.

There was a E53 210kms F/L 3.0d sportpac for $19,995 a while back. This E70 has 240kms.
-
There's a couple 150-180kms ones on Trademe for between 36-40k - I'm thinking mid 20's ?
