Quite different machines though, the RR's are quite big, whereas the RR is a big rolling boat of a thing the X5's are stiff and handle exceptionally well for the type of machine. Really depends on what you want in something like these..

I'd stay away, in fact I'd move to Antarctica which would be the farthest distance away from one. I've owned two of these and both have ended in tears quite badly. Yes; when they are working properly they are a good ride, but the critical word in that sentence is when! I'd expect it could cost upwards of 10k potentially...then you're still left with a UK import 10 year old Range Rover.

Troo, but in all seriousness are you really going to see a 150k car offroad anytime soon? It will spend 99% of it's time in light mud, gravel and mainly the road, there are other German marque's out there that do give you low range for a much lower price than a Landcruiser & I'm more talking about a VX Landcruiser, a 70 series is a different kettle o fish again.

Yeah but 195kw & 650nm from a 4.5litre V8 twin turbo? How do they get such a small amount of kW from such a big engine?? Not my choice of car but a Audi Q7 Tdi V8 diesel is 250kw and 800nm and comes with more kit and is cheaper!!! They're just over rated IMO. Reliable yes? I think that ship has sailed too.

Bugger the petrol 4 cylinders IMO. Get a 120d or a 123d or a 130i If you can go the 123d they are an astonishing little car.

Bugger it, I thought the wheels are up in the air and the tray slides along the ground?? Could check tyre levels but all 4 wheels are same brand tyre and fairly evenly worn.

Well, I've given it a go plugged into the lights and it plays up when plugged in and then not without it plugged in & funny you should say that, I trialed this up 3 mile hill. IMO, it's not something I'm going to worry about.
