  1. Yeah it is a little unnerving walking through the airport to see the Army walking around with Uzis.
  2. Huh? Could have sworn I was the only one in the car when that happened yesterday in the rain....

    stig is watching

The one I saw in East Tamaki was a RAV4 if I remember correctly. That's one hell of a walk of shame....
  4. +1. Traction control was going nuts with the slightest suggestion of enthusiasm!
  5. Haha - my ex was buying cigarettes and booze as soon as she could see over the bar with no questions asked. The legal age is more of a suggestion over there - much like red lights in Italy....
  6. Holy 7 digit bank balance Batman! Not much M3 left when it comes down to it....

    Tuesday Timewaster

    Yeah that is pretty cool.
  8. Awesome - Barcelona is my favourite european city by far! Don't forget to go to the MotoGP while you are there (easily the best one I have been to) and enjoy the Spanish lifestyle. Are your family speaking Catalan or Spanish? They are distinctly different languages, and normally the Catalans speak Spanish as a second language. edit: typing while drunk
  9. I love the shape of these - and owned 2 before I got the 330. I had both a diesel and VR6 and both were pretty reliable and handled well. Biggest problem was the window regulators. The MK2 I had however was a different story.... Seems pricey for a 93 done over 200kms though.
  10. Sinfully ugly is more the terminology I would use.... Wash your mouth out!
  11. sh*t I thought that was the real Mr T there for a second... What's next - a MacGyver movie? Or Magnum PI maybe?
  12. One of my mates had to strip his top off every time a particular song came on (we requested it in about 4 busy bars that I can remember), another had to get some chick to ride him like a bucking bronco (that was some funny sh*t!). The usual stuff like getting a phone number in permanent marker (in plain view of everyone in the bar) on his inner thigh works well, as does drinking from a rubber chicken all night, getting bras/g-stings etc (don't expect to keep them though - the chicks won't let it out of their sight, but I was surprised how many would "assist" with this). And get it on the back of a t-shirt (so he can't see it) but you can tick each one off as he does them. Have fun!
  13. If I remember correctly Customs have the right to tax it at what they value the item at - not what you might have paid for it, or what is written on the paperwork.
  14. Whats with the goofy rear number plate holder? Nice classic apart from that though. A mate of mine in the US was looking at this.... Nice!
  15. My kind of bus I like my booze like my cars - i.e.: German.
  16. No, but he did have Ducatis and an MV August F4 Oro when I was there. Yeah they are special cars. We had Bruce Lee's old one for our wedding car. About as classy as I will likely ever get....
  17. Yep, imported by the current owner (David Blackmore) from Columbia. Believe the former owner won't be needing it as he is on long stretch in the federal penetentiary.... He also owned/owns 2x ex Hugh Hefner & 1x ex Hong Kong movie studio stretched Mercedes Pulmans (among a multitude of other classy vehicular transport). http://number1.co.nz/cars/
  18. Wow that's special. Especially love the bass volume screwed straight into the top of the dash. Wouldn't touch it with yours.
  19. Removing the bumper is an easy job as well - you do need a Torx T50 (from memory) bit for the bumper bolts though. I got a full set from Supercheap for around $13. http://forum.e46fanatics.com/archive/index.php/t-82562.html http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=655802
  20. You are checking it hot, engine idling, trans in park, car on a level surface I take it? Edit: Is it the correct dipstick?
  21. Think Wheel Fix It quoted me around $100+GST per wheel for my old ones. That was mobile, and they do everything on site.
  22. Wow - that is in nice condition. Pretty rare to see one so original. Bummer you (well, your dad) is selling it. That's why it's called it a 3 whore trunk..... The perfect vehicle for the hitman on the way up the "corporate" ladder.
  23. So that's what the Dacia 1300 actually looks like.... Probably more realistic than the one in Grahams thread. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....c=26998&hl=
  24. That's insane! Guess I shouldn't be surprised though. Good old fashioned Soviet manufacturing technology!
