I actually think my friend has a set of these on a 318ti he is selling on behalf of his mum. Probably better condition. Might ask and see if he wants to sell them separately and I can hook him up with a different set of wheels for the compact to sell. pm me your number and I will be in touch.

You should consider my 325i E91. Its certainly in the right price category

Just put normal tyres on and get some roadside assistance like AA or similar. Cant put into words how much better the e91 is with normal tyres over re050a rft.

Looking for a radiator for e36 328i coupe japanese import. Used is fine as long as its working or suggestions on somewhere that does new ones if its cheap enough. Cheers

Auction was pulled before closing date and $5150 was the top bid at the time.

I think they are alright as long as you have matching front and rear and wheel caps all the same

Pretty sure fl and pfl are different shapes for the kidneys. Ie you cant fit fl to a pfl nose panel and vice versa. -
check under the rear seat to see if there is any obvious damage around the seals?

Correct octane fuel for 1 series 120i japanese import in NZ
qube replied to baz's topic in Maintenance
I use caltex 95 because its the closest to my house, and I save up the AA fuelsaver points which saves me around $40-60 a month when I fill up. -
I have a CD stacker by itself, not 100% sure if it will fit the E39, I think it came out of my E91 (bad memory) but I can try it on my E39 tomorrow and let you know if you find a radio unit without cd stacker.

use 95 if not 98. doesnt cost much more than 91 and you probably will get better fuel economy anyway so it pays for itself -
put doggy treats all around the lip. ez

At the moment I cant tell if the cars not starting due to an issue with the alarm, or if its an issue with the car/battery/fuelpump/crank or cam sensor or else. I want to get the alarm taken out but unfortunately drivers door lock was replaced at some point so the key for the ignition barrel is different do the drivers door so without the alarm central locking, I need to lock and unlock from the passengers side. sigh. How hard/costly is it to change all the door/boot locks and ignition barrel with a set from a different wrecked car with matching keys? - could be an option to sort out the key issue if its not too expensive.

Ahh yes.. my first problem with the newly acquired E36. The car has been parked up for about a week siting idle, and went to start it a couple hours ago to move it. The car has an older M60 mongoose alarm and the remote key flashed but didnt beep or unlock the car. So I went to manually unlock it with the key and of course the siren started going off and car wouldnt start. Went out and bought a new alarm fob battery but still didnt beep or do anything except light up when a button was pressed. Realised I had the override pin code card and did the blinking counting ignition sequence thingy and managed to get the car to turn over but it wouldnt start. Connected up the other car with jumper cables and the car locked itself again so had to do the pin code sequence again and still cranking but no start! I thought it might be the battery but the air con lights up, so does the OBC panel and the dashboard fairly bright so I dont think the battery is completely dead, I would have thought jumping it would work but no luck. Any ideas before I call AA? Thanks!
