Very nice! I test drove an automatic 130i not long ago and thought it was pretty nice but something a little bit missing. Im sure the 6 speed would fill that gap nicely. I got some nice work wheels (model W-ITS 901) to suit 1 series selling on behalf of my friend if you're keen?

reminds me of an experience where my friend borrowed his uncles e60 m5 to show a client around town and left $40 on the dashboard so his uncle could fill up petrol. the txt msg from his uncle said something like "either leave me $140 or nothing at all.. $40 is absolutely meaningless". hahaha

I think it sounds like a airflow sensor issue but best thing to do is get it properly scanned for fault codes before anything.

not suprised, it would have sat at the dealers for ages before it was sold then registered. manual vert cant be popular or a fast sell out of the dealerships

asking 5.5, worth 1100 imo. for 5.5 you can find better 328's or 330's. or a 318 with less things wrong with it than that one at least im sure

I would say that given the amount of work it needs, its probably worth whatever their asking price is then divide it by 5. so if they want 5k its probably worth 1k. imo anyway

what you're supposed to do is to take off a chunk of the plastic covering wire but leave the wire intact. basically the wire needs a bit of room to move and the rubber covering expands and prevents this over time. Its really fiddly and annoying but a relatively simple solution to a b**** of a problem.

Its usually done when its first registered and thats when the person applying for the rego just puts whatever they want. Heaps of coupes registered as saloons and weird names like "BMW 328ias coupe e36 coupe 2.8L sports" etc
