Torque Performance in Avondale. Rolling road.
-
It was Alan Cattle's JPS E30 M3. I haven't seen him in ages, so I don't know where the car is. Alan would have the cars log-book if he has the car still. Jim Richards won the Aussie Touring Cars with it before it came here. Conrod may know more. I don't know whether it was a factory car before that, or whether Frank Gardner had it built for him. When Andrew gets my video back, I've got video of it somewhere.

Is it an Auto Brent? The 540 is about the same stock horsepower and I'm getting 172kW at the wheels. So, I guess the rest of the loss is in the transmission. Good result though. 1/4 mile time next!

Blue Glaze, literally. I think. -
Haha. Nice, filmed under controlled conditions of course!

Sorry, yes. The suspension (strut) tower is a common place. Open the bonnet and have a look around. -

It should be stamped on the strut tower plate (or somewhere near). It'll be in German, so post what it says and someone here will translate it for you. http://www.bmwinfo.com/23230.html If it is the one in your avatar, I'd expect it to have Blau as it looks a shade of Blue to me. -
The JPS 635 was Jim Boult's. I have a feeling it has been sold though. The Warsteiner is Graeme Clyde's Monty's 2002tii. I hope to get to the workshop and take some recent photos of the SuperTourers this week.

Welcome. It looks nice. I'll keep an eye out for it, when I'm down this week.

Well done Jock. I'd go with 2003 as we only moved back to NZ in late 2002.
-
Welcome, very nice car. Emma, wouldn't a cross between Otago Boys and Otago Girls be, Otago Babies? (or Ferals)

Have you had a play with Windows Movie Maker Jock? It's pretty easy to use and does the basic stuff.

I think you mean the Richard Hadlee edition with that paint job. -
Is New Zealand Broadband Internet too EXPENSIVE?

I voted No. Slowest yes. But it's still not unreasonable pricing IMO. Having said that, I don't pay for the unlimited Xtra service I have. So maybe I am biased. As Telecom built the network, I struggle to understand why they should make it available to start-up companies who have no infrastructure and never will. At least Vodafone built a cellular network to compete and did a better job of selecting technology and delivering the service to the masses. So until someone builds a high-speed network. Telecom have no reason to upgrade the copper in the ground. If it was an economic proposition, one of the large global Telco's would have come here. Strange none of them have. Why? They won't make money. -
Honda are saying anything of theirs 10 years old or less will be fine.

DCH Motorsport. 348 3189 No idea what it will cost.

Well done Brent. Looks good. Post the dyno run.
-
Another nice choice of car. Welcome. Look forward to the pictures.

I'm in. Didn't get my picks in as I was travelling. So I'm pretty happy with 29. I probably wouldn't have done that well picking them.
-
Welcome. Nice looking car. Shame about the weather.

At home on my wireless. And connected to the Router at home.
-
I like it the way it is. Good to see you come over from the 'dark-side' Andrew to a proper car.
-
Can't you do something at Taupo? Also, weren't the BMWCC running a racecraft course each year? Otherwise, Canterbury Racing School at Ruapuna do it in an RX7 for a start and then into a Formula Ford.

1802 and 52 from my wireless connection in Te Puke.

Nice car. Remember to show up to a driver training with the BMWCC at Ruapuna. You'll love it down there on those roads.
