  1. 160,000km isnt that great... Vin appears to be WBSBL92040PP87343
  2. Really need to ditch the stretched POS rubber bands and fit some real rubber to make those wheels look good. I agree that about 20K is the right sort of price based on SMG and Miles (and being a UK import).
  3. Strangely, i ended up with a 2007 Mazda MX5 with the power retractable hard top. Im loving it.
  4. Im regards to the car its self, i think its a damn good base for a really fun car. I was interested in it until i realised that all the bumpers and MSport kit are all unmatched to the body color, the AC doesnt work, it has an oil leak and no cert. I think thats whats letting it down. I see its down to $5k start reserve now, im sure it was about 7-8k when i last looked. At $5k i think its a damn good deal.
  5. Oh please dont start this again
  6. its a lovely looking car though, love the green and its great seeing an interior that isnt bloody black for once. Its well optioned too. It was on my watchlist, but im out of the market now.
  7. That appears to be the one that was in CHCH that i was interested in. Bloody glad i dodged that bullet now, sounds like its worse than the original seller was letting on. Would be a great project if you had a donor car or something. Its got a lot of good bits (like the half leather/alcantara sport interior) so could also be worth getting just for parts.
  8. Ive seen plenty of people ask more for 325i coupes with more KM and worse shape.
  9. Seems like a lot of car for 12k, even with the fake M3 kit.

    E36 M3 Project

I liked it better before, without the spastic wing #unpopularopinion
  11. We're bred a bit special down there....
  12. Very jealous, sort of thing im looking for! Please put up more photos for us to be nosy at
  13. Really understated too, visually it looks like most other E39s. Thats a cool interior though.
  14. i think the sedan is by far the best shape for the E9# series M3, glorious looking car. Not keen on that interior though.

    E36 M3 Project

do the wheels use the same mounting style lug bolts (cone seat) as the bolts youre using?
  16. didnt even notice the expired reg and wof. Going by the rego label, wouldnt it be dereg/lapsed now? The listing says 11/15 but the label says otherwise.
  17. looks like a nice car, but under which conditions would NZ Customs have to sell off a car?
  18. The cheaper one is an Evo, but it is also a converted SMG car. Those wheels look garish on it. Would probably do wonders to put some E46 Msport wheels or something on. I'd totally take that on as another tidy up project.... if it were about 6 grand cheaper.
  19. That 330 wagon looks bloody awesome, but unfortunately its a few thousand out of my budget. Still looking, would even consider a tidy near standard manual 325i E30, sedan or coupe.
  20. Looking good. Its funny how thick and plump the new seal is compared to the old dry ones.
  21. i dont know who that is or why i should care, but i got it correct first time.
  22. what, like the guy with the M5 tuned 545i?
  23. i like it with the E46 msport wheels, big fan of that style. Its decent spec and not bad looking at all for a compact, shame its a 318. Its funny, with the listing i totally expected the car to have an M3 badge, or at the very least an ///M badge.... but nothing (other than the steering wheel and sill trim badges). Thats usually what makes people think their car is special, but in this case the owner actually came to the conclusion themselves.
  24. its like they've never seen an m3 before.
