if i do say an oil change I fill in the service book just like a "garage" would.Keep any receits for oil etc so you have some prrof on the wrk you are claiming....but yeah,record it somehow,ypu can buy "log Books" at bookshops,but obviosly a notebook can do the same job

you are back to front.No new cars will be allowed into this country(including used cars) unless they comply with the emmissions laws of the country they come from.So theoretically if you want to buy a new or newer car it will be a "clean" one, and a more expensive one.

I appreciate that and good on you.But my point is that any club is more about the people in it.And just like the real world there will be some people you like and some you dont.So just join up and get into it.If you dont join the club and exert some influence the club wont change.I am sure if you turned up at a couple of events to suss it out noboody would be upset.Talk to Gerry Hodges,and ask to suss out a couple of events with a view to joining.I get annoyed at people who say this is crap and that is crap and do nothing to change it.

Although i send out approx 70 emails to the car club we have had a very poor response to our call for flag marshalls and timekeepers.So if any of you Wellingtonians/Manawatuians have some spare time next sunday your help wil be appreciated.BBQ lunch and an opportunity to get trackside.If the outdoors is not your thing then timekeepers are also needed.Time a car (maybe two but probably not) for three laps.We would need you there by 10 am,prolly finish at Three ish.If you can help out can you post a reply with how many and your job preference.If you are keen for a go at marshalling come prepared for any weather!

I think Simon there are a couple of relays called "unloader relays" that tell everything to stop...

reset or just call up.You will have two seperate consumption figures cons1 and cons 2,so you check trips on one while leaving the other.I willeave it to e 39 ers to actually tell you how!My e 34 is easy it has seperate buttons for each function and a seperate S/R button too!

Like almost every club i have belonged too you get out what you put in.Many club members belong to the club so they are able to get their competition license.As Cain said there is a Quarterly magazine,and club membership entitles you to a 10 percent discount on parts from BMW dealers,and some other organisations give discounts to club members.

i have some of those on vinyl!......I have so many tunes in my head,little feat,eagles,rolling stones,little known band atlanta rythym section....the longer i think about it the more overwhelmed i become.

the actual seeling price of a car is largely due to the manufacturers perceived market segment.Ie they can reallyt decide how much it will sell for,which may have very little to do with what it costs them to make.And remeber,in relation to the cost BMW had in developing the M3 Alpina have already got a car...
