water is about as natural as it gets....

just you cant re install the "post cat" probes?
-
i agree with the latter points, the seats wheels and suspension are the bits that make the difference, the body kit is the "label" for others
-
well that looks a pretty good candidate to me!

5 series are underated. Most seem to choose a 3 series when imho a 5 series most of the time is a far better car.A fact of life.I always though it a little amusing when e30 325 autos with open diffs and no body kit were selling for more than my 535is

no specific knowledge here aprt from some knowledge of e 34. Th e M50 is a pretty well used engine. It may not be exactly the same ine 325 guise there is that resource.M60 will bolt in,the factory did it,but there are some differences between the two installs. The v8 is a tight fit so the brake system is different, and radiators too i guess, not to mention requiring bigger brakes and suspemsion once you put the v8 in.The only problem with putting in a m60 is that a manual box is even more rare for them

its too small and it wont link me too a bigger pic?

very sad to hear i only met him once ,at one of the annual meets at a pub up there, his enthusiasm was contagious.

its getting a bit silly though...an m badge used to mean a car that was at least a wee bit special...it means nothing now.
-
you might find a e39 528 touring, they the only manual e39 manual i have seen apart from a few e39 540 six speeds or M5s

2 new tyres ,got pirrellis again as i like them compared to the conti s and bridgestones.Big difference,a strange resonance has gone and as expected the ride is a little better.didnt have time for alignment but the older ones went from front to back.Alignment next weekend.

NZ performance tuning....was 900 bucks i think which i admit is a lot.But it made the lil diesel so much nicer and better too.Big jump i admit between a 120d and a e39 m5 but the potential will be there.I talked to them a lot before i got it done, you may have to wait a wee bit but they come down everynow and then. I will check my emails n that but i am 99 percent sure that was them

no...they come to you. They did mine on the side of the road at work.Took 10 minutes max.Made a big difference to the lil diesel. How is the issue on the M5? Still bloody tempted to get one

make him a stupid offer then

i could be keen on a basic unit for road use..for instance i dont have a temp gauge and would like one...oil temp? boost some other perhaps selectable values??
-
there are a couple of things that suggest to me it hasnt been looked after that well.Any regular servicing would have replaced that pollen filter and the key remote not working?.....its is prolly cheaper than equivalents because the smg is not popular...wether that is deserved or not i dont know. drive a few more if you can, then you can get to see the trends with them, and recognise a goodun when you see it.
-
so its not an x drive then?
