yes it s twin turbo,thats why they call it a 335 when in fact its only 2997 cc

took it for a strop(hardly) over the hill to see the Wings over Wairarapa Air Show.Last time(on this occasion) that the DH mosquito fly s in NZ.Awesome job they have done but there still noting like a single merlin passing overhead with a bit of boost on.

i reckon the sports seats in an e 34 are amongst the most comfortable.Part of that is the electric adjustent means the range of adjustment is virtually infinite,and with base height and rake adjustable,back and fowards and backrest if you cant get it the right position there is something wrong

they need a good thrashing before they get the first service.I really believe they need some full throttle bursts before that are very old.

i used to run a SQUARE set up on my 535 i with "sport" suspension.It was as per factory i think.It handled fine for me and with the lsd i never suffered from lack of rear end grip.although my driving style is maintain speed rather than heavy acceleration and braking.If thats what you want i believe a 5 series is the wrong car. The only downside to a really nice feeling car to me was a tendency to wear the outside of the fronts and the inside of the rears.When the fronts started to show signs of that i used to put them on the back and new ones would go on the front,as ussually the rears were nearly gone.The last few sets of tyres i had were falken 452 i think

i have these but i think they have hub rings and one may be missing they e39 fitment had them on the e34 for years 17x8 et20

i am sure thats go t somethng to do with it.Every now and then i am aware of a strange resonance at idle ...or low revs.Only in very specific circumstances.The kind of thing you sometimes get with windows down
