  1. I'm after a set of those smoked indicator lenses and side repeaters for e30 and don't want the tint-spray ones. Anyone got any they want to flick off cheap? Cheers.
  2. Slot a BMW or lexus v8 in there? Go and drive a e46 330i at a dealer and if that's not enough power for you post back so we can suggest alternatives, but you might find that before you do too much, a quick trade up to a 330i might save you big money in the future and give you the power you want. No-one wants to change cars 5mins after buying one, but it may be an easy option. All the rest sounds interesting. not all in my taste, but I'll reserve judgement until it finishes as it sounds like you have a relatively decent idea about what does and doesn't look good on these cars compared to many people. Keep us updated with pics.

    Boobs on bikes

On the one hand, it seems like "loose" society is part of the reason we have youth gang problems etc. On the other, the world is WAAAAYY too PC. So I voted Yes because I like boobies.
  4. If you want pics of e30's with different wheels, then the e46fanatics thread Josh posted up is good. Link
  5. Not sure which ones you're on about. If you are just changing the lenses, unscrew them from the front - two phillips screws. If you are changing the entire units you need to remove the bumper - two very large torx-head (star) bolts under bumper and the whole bumper slides forward. If you mean the side repeaters, then they just have one phillips screw each.
  6. I went through a similar exercise recently Gus as am thinking of changing to 16's, but have decided to have a go at new shocks etc first. 16" rubber is next to no difference in price to 17 (in fact it was cheaper for Dunlop Sport Maxx's). There are fewer sizes available, but enough to fit most e30 fitments. Anyway, I quite liked BBS LM's but they don't make 4-stud. Then I came across simmons OM's which they do make in 4-stud. Simmons are a really good quality light-weight wheel, and the OM's are similar to LM's. I actually found them on UK ebay, but turns out mag & turbo have them in nz aswell. Mag & Turbo

    The Pyjamas Thread

I was thinking dutch oven? And if my Mum came and ripped the blankets off at 6am there'd be some charges being laid lol.
  8. Who the hell keeps voting on these year-old polls? That's why they keep floating up to the top of the unread post list.
  9. Which light is it. I have a full set of headlights, and also a passenger side low beam glass only that may be what you are after.
  10. Nicest looking e30 to join the site in recent times. Cool.
  11. Have emailed/PM'd everyone who has shown interest. There are about 4 of you. First in with the funds = best dressed. I have included my ph details in most of the messages. Graham
  12. Maybe something stuck, and freed itself. By "something" I mean I can't really think of anything that wouldn't be a bit of a major problem. Keep an eye on it. Maybe your shocks are on the way out.
  13. I had alloy ones custom made. Cost $80-90 from memory, so if Glenns ones fit, do it.
  14. Postwhore. There used to be an annual "megameet" in taupo for a few years running, but it ran out of steam as so much organisation to do, and plus the usual suspects were pretty good at organising there own pissups without having to do a bsport specific one. I've toyed with the idea of organising something up here in nthland as we've had 2 that were a huge success, but its alot of work to do on your own and actually has quite a few hidden costs. I'd help someone else organise one though.
  15. I've gotten mine online, but recently found it at both a magazine store not far from the Square in Chch when I was there a few months back, and from Magazine City in Westfield mall Westcity (Henderson). So I'm sure there are plenty of other specialist magazine stores around. Both of them had Performance BMW also.
  16. Some of you may remember this. I'm still gutted I wasn't there. For the new chums - this was at a bimmersport meet in 2005. And no, i didn't save the pic - just found the old thread. Search for Mega Meet Pics if you are interested - more pics like this.
  17. I change the CD constantly but ones that get bashed ALOT are: Bevan Keyes - Key to the Groove Groove Armada Salmonella Dub - The Dub Plates Concord Dawn - Uprising World's Best Electro (Still playing it) Patrice
  18. I think you're over-reacting Brian. They're just trainspotters doing what trainspotters do best. I hardly think it was ctricism of the vehicle. I for one agree with you on those that DO criticise others rides. As you say, each to there own. However I don't think this is the case here. I removed your first comment as I could see it starting a shitfight in what so far has been a pretty good thread. Your comments/opinion are welcome, but please try not to personally attack members. Cheers. P.S. Back on topic please.
  19. They warned those with weak stomachs to look away on TV1 Breakfast yesterday, and encouraged children to watch lol. Dislocated. They popped it back and he'll just have to wait a few months for the ligaments to heal plus lots of physio and rehab. He'll lift again if he wants.
  20. Keith Hartley is your man if you want aftermarket. His user name is SUSPENSION and he gives a bsport discount. If you want replacement secondhand springs, plenty of people will have some lying around including me. Worth a box of beers. Get under there and ahve a look. You should see something out of the ordinary when compared with the other side.
  21. Pippa and what's his face were having a laugh about it on Breakfast this morning. TAB sports cafe last night mentioned it but didn't show it.

    e36 320i - 194km/h

probably only 135 - e30 speedos are notoriously inaccurate above 100km.
  23. My mate had the newer model SSS atessa with the sr20det worked. Ugly as sin, but one of the fastest nissans I've seen. All scum home-made external, etc, but that thing cranked. I'd still take the e36 over it anytime though.
