    Slumps ?

slump (slŭmp) pronunciation intr.v., slumped, slump·ing, slumps. 1. To fall or sink heavily; collapse. 2. To droop, as in sitting or standing; slouch. 3. To decline suddenly; fall off
  2. If it has a decent tune and has been done properly I'd seriously hit that. Awesome! If looking to buy, handle with care and you should be ok.
  3. RHD e30's will always lack feel. There's a bloody long linkage across the car to the booster which adds play and reduces feel. The only way to remove it properly is to relocate the booster to the RHS. The stock one won't work as it gets in the way of the steering linkage, etc. The suggestions above are the best you can do.

    The bastard child.

You're working too slow. Hurry up!
  5. Research back pressure on google to find out about all the myths.
  6. 330d would embarrass e30 325i and below. I'm with Ollie - 95% awesome.
  7. Honest question: Why is this forum the self-proclaimed trademe police?
  8. Yeah mine died because I left it over winter. I have a Projecta KM400R battery charger (it's 2.2A Automatic). I suppose I could just leave this plugged in all the time over winter when the car is mostly parked up? Cheers.
  9. Thanks guys. As long as the positive lead raches I'm good. I have a longer-than-factory neg lead on their now as I'm borrowing a marine-grade cranking barttery out of the boat (fooking huge!). Held in with industrial cable ties. I appreciate the advice Glenn. I want to buy a decent battery, but my info is that the DIN 66/65 sized batteries are more expensive due to there being less of a demand for them. So hoping to get something in a more common size that I can make fit.
  10. Thanks Glenn, will shop around up here and let you know. I'm down your way in a few weeks. Cheers.
  11. Correct. I have these with custom valving in my car. Very good.
  12. 1991 e30 325i. Battery located in the boot. Battery that came out is one of those expensive DIN666's. The battery tray has heaps of room for a larger or different size battery. Cheers
  13. That and the stories I heard about the OP when he was looking to buy a m325i about 4 years ago.
  14. Depends on the certifier. Most charge the same fee. I know one that will do it cheaper if he did the original cert, and has a good feeling about you. ie trusts that he doesn't have to scrutineer the entire car, but can get away with a quick look to make sure nothing has changed since last time except for what you need the new cert for. Will only do for minor changes like wheels, etc. Anything more serious would require full re-cert.
  15. Pot calling the kettle black????
  16. No, hers is more blue, and number plate is DRAGON but I notice this isn't showing up on carjam so I may have the spelling wrong.
  17. KT and I have already had this talk. CBF driving to auckland, but if I did I'd be taking a look at the red tech I cabby aswell.
  18. You know I love ass. One for you too... TM
  19. Here you go Martyn - not a euro though... TM
  20. Magnificent! Not much boot space though...
  21. Do you want complete units, or just the glass? Or just the surrounds? Electric or manual?

Meh, he needs one... Jks Chrisworth, hope it was a gd one. Lemme know if you make it up here this summer. I'll head out for a brewski or 12, and more of the usual. Hope you got a b'day root.
  23. Hi Stephen, I have a supercharged e30 325i. Originally I was going to do it myself, but then I spotted a supercharged m20 on tradme for sale. The vendor is now a member here, but at that time he wasn't. It was probably a slightly cheaper way to do it, but with all the extra work and $$$ I've put into it, I probably should have done it myself from scratch. Hindsight's a wonderful thing, but that said I love how the car performs, and I'm happy with how things turned out. If you're going to run boost the first two things you need is to work out how much power you want and how much power you can afford. Then you need to work out which type of power suits you better. The high end punch of a turbo, or the responsive, torquey-ness of a supercharger. From there it's research, research, research. e30tech.com forums is one of the best places for FI info for e30. I can help if you want to know about how I find the SC, what I'd do differently, and what it cost. There are others here and overseas who have turboed m20's. Read as much as you can, and come back with specific questions. Good luck! PS. If you want a bolt-in solution, I might be able to be convinced to sell mine so I can work on my next idea. Mine is now fully sorted with a tune from the master himself, Gavin Bellars. Fully maintained and very reliable. Makes just under 200hp at the rear wheels. It's not actually for sale, but if it were going to go to someone who specifically wanted to SC, then I could be convinced to sell it at market value. Which is probably well under what it cost unfortunately.
