    Wofail?

Can be fixed if you got it cheap enough, but who wants the hassle?
  2. Still my favourite e30 on BS, You're my hero Matt.
  3. Those sorts of noises can be really hard to find. Sometimes helps if you can get a passenger to help. Could be a million things.
  4. She was too pre-occupied with your knob obviously. Totally forgot to get you to check her under carriage.
  5. A good 5-star alarm, and the rest is down to just making it harder, or less attractive. Common sense really. Thieves are scum as you say, and they'll do anything to pinch something if they think they won't be caught, so if you make it harder for them and make it so they are more likely to get caught, then you'll be sweet. In the weekend I had to park my MR2 in a public carpark overnight. My g/f wanted to park it down the back where it wouldn't be seen - I said, nope, we're parking it in the most obvious, well lit, "I'm here, steal me" spot we can in full view of the main road. Few thieves will be bold enough to pinch something in full view, but hide it down the back where they can take their time and you are asking for trouble. Got there in the morning to find I hadn't closed the boot properly. Nothing had been touched including CD's etc in the boot. Lucky - yes, but might have had something to do with it being in such a visible location - no thief bothered to even take a look.

  7. Unless they are personalised (ie not the original rego number for that vehicle) they can't be transferred to another vehicle.

    BWM 320i 1988 manual

    That was quick! Well done.
  15. Yeah, I always get 2x 1L to be safe, and sometimes need the second one, but rarely. Remember, once opened brake fluid absorbs moisture so you can't store it for long and then use it later unless you want water in your fluid = bad. So a 3L would be alot of waste.

    Jordy's E46

I love Alpine gear. Have it in my e30. Can those new units change button backlight and screen background colour to match BMW dash??? My current one can - and I won't swap to a newer one if they can't. Wheels look good!

Its tempting alright, especially at that price. Wonder if he'd swap for a 1990 sw20 MR2??? Doesn't hurt to ask.
  19. Just remember many metch models in NZ DID have an ///M badge. It's frowned upon on alot of overseas forums, but in NZ the cars came with them, so really its personal preference. Apart from that, I concur.
  20. I've done it by myself using Apex's method. I've always just used regular brake fluid from Repco. You can access the toothed handbrake adjuster by poking a long thin screw driver through one of the stud holes.
