Yeah so I have been looking into these little gems. I personally think the best full frame digital camera money can buy. Unfortunatly the price to reflect it. Some amazing coloured shots floating around on the review sites. The raw images always look so good. Do any of you have any real world exprience with these cameras you could share with the mat? *edit spelling*

For sure, Very interested in looking into this for my own uses. Ultimately coming up with a bunch of models then even 3d printing a mockup and testing on a dyno runner legnth and camber size. I know its very hard to improve on stock without knowing what is what however this piece of software will point you in the correct direction atleast.

options are: Copy paste insurance companies who pull from a mac donalds menu when profiling cars cut insurance costs and advertise on TV. Covers 95% of people / vehicles Or insures like NAC or specific car club insurance. Maybe hit up the BMWCC and see if they have any deals currently running with affiliates.

Sounds very similar to the m54bXX fly by wire issues ... flat spot in revs around 3-4k on full load etc etc, Have you tried clearing the adaptive maps DME/EGS again and seeing if it disappears for a small time? -
I think its just a knowledge thing around other options to acheive the same result. Unfortunatly the wrong ways are often socailised around over time and it becomes the norm. People dont know any different. I will take an example of a lowered e30 with a m50/s50 e34 sump. My car is lowered, however I have done it so with enlarging the wheels to get the same result. The low look without the ride height being compromised. I will still put a sump gaurd on to be safe. Another way is lower the flares down and run bigger wheels .. a meet in the middle approach. this way you also retain proper suspension geometry and shock piston travel which = proper handling. lots of ways to skin this cat .. just how you look at it.

In that TV interview its what their not telling you, The mis management of ACC over the past 10 years and labours reluctance to do anything about it and let it get into billions of dollars in debt. (Or was that always the plan to make National look bad) Put puppet front man in front of camera and explain it away with token pulled out of air road stats that dont exist. Charge up heavy desiel as they're usually a busniess. Our household will now pay nearly $1000 per year to the man ...

Awesome .. love it! .. and the interior looks very tastefully done. hang onto that steering wheel for the hill climb. flat leathers not so fun to slide around on. truely awesome!

haha ... Galleto is software/cable setup that allows you to dump binaries from your ODBII ECU. You use other programs to edit them such as WinOLS or TunerPro etc etc None of these will show you what is what on binaries. To discover maps and other relevant data you need a lot of patience / skill and luck. Or lots of $$$ to purchase the checksum overlays. Then you need need more patience / skill to do any good with it. + a dyno and Lamda sensors etc

For DIS to work on the round plug ODBII connector you need ECU,EWS signal (12 volts) to pin 14,15 and 16. However you can bridge these pins to provide 12 volts from the ECU ALIVE signal to 'bypass' DIS's checks if you dont have a EGS (gearbox controller) Next pre-req is 13 volts, which is pretty much impossible from the standard battery and/or bridging it. So and easy way around this without using an expensive battery pack is to grab a reliable car and jumper it to your car that requires programming. It will provide the nessecary 13 volts. make sure that the cables are reliable, the car is reliable and the jumpered connection is secure as you DONT want a voltage surge while programming. -

Grab TunerPro .. dump to BIN. The bugger is working out the checksums and where BMW has put everything on the BIN. (speed limiter, maps in 8bit or 16bit, vanos maps, injector constants etc etc) This is what professional tuners pay a lot of money for (pre made checksum overlays) WinOLS will let you open the BIN and adjust it ... burning it back in is another thing.

should be a good handling car with that engine in it and if they do what I think their doing to it. run it on a m800 or sq6m pectel and drive the extra injectors with slide plate throttle bodys and it would honk. Lots of interesting stuff you learn from austrian hill climb cars.. lightened rotating mass / high compression and bucket loads of fuel and air. A certain person we all know is looking at 380hp from his DTM m3
