Have cleared the schedule for thursday ... Will bring cameras this time ... (jk/s .. maybe)

Yeah they do rock for so many reasons. This was brendons clip. Was shot in 25p / TV mode for more dynamic colour as cinemode is a bit flat for lots of light. Didnt lock off the exposure for this unfortunitly. Using sony vegas as premier just seems to be overly complicatd when importing and exporting. We are using the same processing I use on my digi SLR camera shots .. just trying to perfect it for film as its a little different. Jochen: Yes, a merlin is the next thing we are looking at. That and some more car camera mounts / camera crane. This clip was a bit of a fluke, brendon had the camera on a skateboard on a cheap camera tripod with a crap head (hence the jerkiness) and was just mucking around with doing a dolly shot, I just so happened to be coming home .. hence my small stop to look at what the hell he was doing

So Brendon and myself each bought HDV camcorders and have been assing around for the past 2 weeks learning everything we can. This is how this short HD clip turned out with HV30 + skateboard + e46 http://www.vimeo.com/1515382 Going to try some Topgear style shots soon. EDIT: Aspect ratio fixed

hehe nothing serious till I finish the race car. My problem is Ive put some serious $$ into it and I only just finished my second round new suspension setup and wheels.
-
Yeah im considering the m3 thing myself... but then I can get a 545i msport for not too much more
-
hmm wouldnt really suggest f**king around with the MAF unless you really know what doing. They are easly damage and are one of the rediculously priced items on an e46 for what they are.

Some info from bimmerfest (US Forum)

???? e46 330/m3 brake disks / pad costs around 1000 for the front and 1200 for the rear. Even cheaper if you get them from the states. Theyre not carbon ceramic!
-
The big problem with a lot of those 20k ones is they are rusty! A RHD conversion will cost around 10k
-
sometimes it really does beg the question ... why would you buy new ? I remember when I bought my e46 in 2004, It was 4 years old and still had the new car smell. New they were 115k got mine for 45k

Also very interested, This will most likely be powering the s50b32 in the e30.

[can of worms open!] This is owned by Jerry Claytons, they want around 75-80k for it last time I heard. (from someone who phoned them up about it) It's not a factory RHD like some claim, BMW australia asked a local BMW tuning house to RHD convert it to test the Aussie and NZ markets when the m3 came to this side of the world. Pity their was not interest back then, we would of had a e30 M3 RHD! Condition wise, it really is in top order inside and out. It has spent the last 3-4 years sitting under a car cover in the the JC lockup. It has cherry red leather inside and aftermarket wheels and is finished in Diamond schwartz. Im not sure of the engine k's but they are not that high. Think i've covered it off. Please bare in mind I haven't seen it in 1 1/2 years but from last I heard it had only been moved to its new lockup area. [/can of worms]

haha .. Its winter time, When summer rolls around we will look into meets again. Maybe something that isnt east auckland again will be cool. The big runs (over nighters) dont seem to attract any interest. Its why I stopped planning them. We could look at hitting the beaches / long bay etc etc in summer. Maybe a few south runs ?

good move.

I beleive it got out that Gus had another naked photo online again... something like that
-
Sorry bro I had too ... you know you took it in almost perfect light.
-
heheh spose you haven't heard a 330 at full noise then ? double vanos sounds quite full on compared to an e36 m50b2x. Nice car mate, It you do the wheels thing .. I would suggest only one wheel for a white e46. 19x8.5 et35 front 19x9.5 et40 rear BBS CH.

BMW M3 vs Mercedes C63 AMG vs Lexus IS-F vs Nissan 350GT
hybrid replied to hybrid's topic in Videos & Sound
Nah the mercs tires where cooked at the end. Road tyres are really sh*t after about 1 lap and with the mercs power baking the rears all the time would have just made for sh*t handling. End of the day the m3 was the smoothest on a short technical track and won as it was the best alround choice for a short circuit. -
you guys watched this ? 8000 pounds ? .. price changes every few months it sounds. Was 6k on this vid. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Lo_847MyF3A
