This has all been on windows mobile for sometime.. As for a device, its a sexy looking bitch. I dont doubt the iphones power in the slightest. The only thing im saying is why pay the premium on one and sign yourself up to a kiwisaver style of plan when the US will have em soon, driving the price down and you can have one without having to pay silly money on contract.

Aus !??!?! this will be classic ...

I have a friend who is all over apple and preches it .. I tease him about his finger nerd phone all the time. He states josh you are just 2 years behind blah blah .. as he struggles yet again to type a simple text message. I think ill be sticking with my 6300 nokia. I would use exchange mode for mail but thats about it.

no not really, It costs nothing in infrustructure costs to vodafone and you are already a customer of theres. I pay $80 for the same plan with no data and I get two free 'buddies' that cost nothing to call or text anytime. A data plan is 40-80 per month on top of that. So your telling me I need to spend nearly twice as much over 24months just for an iphone. $6100 (what us plebs pay) @ 250 per month for a $199 iphone. total $6299 vs $3840 (my plan + a data rate at 160 per month) 250-500 for a win mobile eqiv. total $4340 thats a $1959 differnence. errrm no thanks. can anyone say Kiwisaver ?

you wont regret it man .. seriously. beware of the umbrella effect too .. tons of people do that on holdens and BMWs and it looks naff. Umbrella effect is when you order wheels that have a too greater offset and end up into the gaurds with about an inch or three of gap between the gaurd and the tire. Looks awful. You can still have the 'pumped' look on 8.5 inch or less wheels you just need less offset to keep it close. Ideally you will need to roll your gaurds with a roller and also heat up the paint as not to crack it.

lol ... and when you think about it .. all your getting is something windows mobile has been doing for the past 2 years. Just worked out your going to be paying $6100 over 24months for the privilage of having a $199 iphone.
-
and if it all end tits up .. Ray from HellBM (forum sponsor) will be able to sort you out with parts for a good price.
-
I dont think a et45 will work at 9.5inch wide in the rear. The wheel will hit the shock housing im pretty sure. If your ordering new wheels dude. Just get the proper offset and dont compromise.
-
yes unless you get them off an m sport (mtech) car. Then they are firmer.

Go hard dude! as others have said you have our support!

Very well done It wouldnt take someone too much to do that you know .. just a bit of coin well a decent bit of coin.

To all ... Please keep it civil, no need for personal attacks thanks. cheers Josh

Vanos is really only good for a mid range power cam profile like it was designed for. To use a sharper profile and have usable power in the top rev ranges (which most race engines operate at) You need racing cams and not the standard vanos operated cams.

If your dropping a different engine in it .. just go this http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-159504092.htm

was behind one .. and it does look good .. just not practicallity next the x5. I would still get a new x5 over the x6 .. just cause the new x5 looks tough ...

Hey ya and welcome. Just a correction its not OEM m-tech bumpers / side skirts but an aftermarket kit from japan. Yours is the first I've seen in this country. Few guys on e46fanatics in hong kong and japan have em. Foglights delete is an easy one to do. check e46fanatics.com for most 46 tech details.

Totally agree .. lucky NZ doesnt suffer from this much .. in saying that BMW NZ insists on charging nearly double what the rest of the world pays.
-
They would of stolen the key too. Not saying its impossible but its almost impossible to start a modern BMW without the original key. And hoos rats sure as f**k wouldnt know how without.
-
When in aussie recently I was amazed at the price of BMWs . This is due to the government taxing and therefore have created a "expensive" car stigma there, even more so than New Zealand.
-
We are working on one in Brendons car at the moment. Still have to do some more testing .. but ill be porting it to my setup when I settle on the parts needed. Have done a hex dump of most of the soft buttons in the car and can control a laptop using my standard stereo / steering wheel controls over ibus. Will let you all know how I get on.
