Sounds like the fluid over heating. Its lifetime fluid but still should be done after 100kms. Last time i got a bmw trans fluid replaced cost about 300. Its one job i would only ever leave to the pros. If you sit in traffic alot you might consider a trans cooler -
Its an e30. Ignore the heart sob story of no car for work. He posted on facebook the next arvo that he had bought a gtir pulsar to replace them. Amazing how little damage the bus took Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2

If the radiator hasnt beem changed its worth replacing. Mine looked fine no sign of aging then boom it blew. I was the same as jeffbebe. Average running temp was 112,c. Got new stat now runs at 93. 45 mins of solid racing at taupo and it got to 110 and stayed there. Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2

Was my other thought. If both his cars are worth 13k it cant be that rare. I would be pissed though Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2

Ah sorry was on a mobile in a car. Somehow read that as a m72. Thought you were finally off the chip fat engines but alas no Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2

Yea the interior electric issues make me hopeful its not mechanical. Hope for a battery. Water cooled alternators are expensive.

With or without looms? Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2

These engines do get very hot amd stay hot for a long time after switching off as they have alot of metal to hold temp. Im worried by how middy those braided lines look. If thats dirty the lower mounted alternator must be bad. If interior stuff is playing up it coulf be a bad battery or alternator but thats a stab really. Sounds like you did everything right so far. But agree get it scanned Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2

How does a gopro disintergrate a helmet?. I heard he hit a rock and the g force hurt him. Ski helmets dont have alot of cushioning. Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2

The trans cooler runs through the radiator so is trying to cool it down with 110,c water. Really needs a big external cooler Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2

I have heard those blade ones are ok but must be very sharp. Can be hard to get in on some recessed.windows. I have used wire method a few times most times worked like knife through butter last time was a peugeot and kept snapping my wire. I used piano wire. Cheap from music store. Choose highest pitch wire that is still braided as it gives seration. Really need two people though.

wrong section to post this but i believe it has two small touch switchs that the lever pushes. either swap switches or swap wiring to reverse the system

A friend has an altezza that he imported in 09. And due to a paperwork mix up it was registered as a 2001 toyota homebuilt trailer. Took 9 months to get fixed and was only corrected because he argued the right to pay trailer registration fees -
old and mostly photo shopped but still funny

Goimg off very old hearsay but i was told its legal if its not in the way of seat and belt operation but removal of rear seat to meet these rules may require cert. Sure someone has an actual answer though

hmmm not sure, possibly chuck some bark in a sealed bag and catch some and take to garden center. they know heaps if not MFAT are always happy to help. most creatures like that turn out to be aphids or similar. soapy water gets them so possibly a garden sprayer warm water and biodegradable dish washing liquid. wont harm the cats any.

Vote for ban due to auto love. Will the auto still shift well with extra power? I would be adding a decent trans.cooler into the mix. Preferably thermostat controlled or similar. Takes pressure off gearbox and engine cooling system

Huh never would have guessed it could be done running. Amazing technology Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
