  1. Mine would say its better than a honda exhaust Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  2. Ltnz were cancelling these a while back Also plates that can be installed upside down and look ok but wrong. Not sure if you get a free personalised plate with that though Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  3. Looks better. Engine bays can run high air pressures vs behind the headlight so may force hot air in anyway but prob the best you can do without plumbing into the brake ducts. Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  4. Got the new thrust arms in. Should make a huge difference. Old ones were had it. Git the rocker covers stripped and ready to paint tomorow. And if i get time flushing the brake system with new 5.1 should help the old anchors abit Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  5. Pay to ring around local head offices of the major sponsors of each car. Usual places i have seen those cars are the desks of corporate people. Seems a good price getting very collectable Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  6. I have had good results with dunlop formula r. Semi slicks Though would pribably choose r888 toyos. Have found toyo proxes 4 the best wet weather tyre just incase you are looking at more than one set. Also try to stick with a standard size. The compounds harden with age so an oddball size nay be much older when you buy it rather than a common size. Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  7. 65 and she is seriously getting bad at driving. Just really unaware of the surroundings. Hit 3 series coupe. Git the guarter panel infront of the back wheel. Not to bad of a dent but its creased the wheel arch. Her car needs a new bumper. Overall not to bad. Though she is putting off calling the insurance company because she said she feels like a criminal and doesnt like lobbing a bill on the insurance company. Either she doesnt know what insurance is for or she is really really bad at common sense. Keeps asking me to go assess the bmw. I have told her who cares 500 or 5000 to fix she still only just pays her 300 excess. Not to mention she has no claims for life gaurenteed. Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  8. Is it possible to machine whats left flat then tap studs in and just make a deperate bottom section out of plate steel. Or stainless? Would have as much strength as thick cast alloy. Just depends if stuff like starters are mounted in them. Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  9. Aaaaaaand shes crashed it. After 5 weeks. Hit a poor innocent bmw.
  10. Weird. Was it brand new?. Most should hild sufficient starting charge for at least 6months. We sell batteries and our supplier takes them back for a recharge if it gets to three months old. Which isnt overly common Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  11. Most prices seem fair. Dont expect much luck selling the aircon pump. Noone fixes their aircon. They just sell the pump for scrap steel Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  12. If its at the point of not shifting all you can do is get somewhere like marshall transmissions to flush it out. Be just as cheap to just put a new auto box in rather than flush it. But may pay to look at a manual swap if you have some skills Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  13. Please pm the member directly instead of clogging everything up with old threads. Chances are if it was for sale he might have bumped it in the last 5 months Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  14. To convert you standard abc123 plate to euri it costs about 450 to be manufacturered by the plates people. If you get one and try to put it on another car you will have to make it personalised at a further cost of like 900. Pruces may have changed since i last looked into this Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  15. Check. Charge. Then terminals tight and clean. Then check the fuses besude the battery. If the headlighys work well etc then it could be yet another occurance of a faulty ignition switch. But start with the easy stuff Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  16. You realise you must lay for them as a personalised plate if you want to change what car a standard plate is on. Also 66635 is an awesome plate Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  17. Sounds like the box is rooted..check fluid level and condition. After that its either off to a trans shop. Or just replacing the trans anyway or going manual Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  18. I think you mean rust and dirty rust Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  19. Yea cert it and sell it. Worth decent money. Even if its f**ked Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  20. On my lost if bmw paint codes ive only found one boston green A second version is often an update to add metallic of pearl or different clearcoats. Happens alot in car making. Often are hard to tell apart and often totally different. Though on another note manufacturers often have different versions of the same paint. Basically if they miss tint a massive batch they will just call it version two of that colour. Can have a few versions over the life of a colour. Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  21. +25% increase in power needs cert Different block needs cert Different head needs cert. Different number of cyl needs cert. Costs bugger all when you consider not having one may void insurance claims eveb if it gets a wof. And will make it much harder to sell. Also despite being 100% factory items dont be surprised if they demand a drive shaft hoop or two
  22. Exactly. Ive found overseas that you can compinants where here you can get only complete units Also bear in mind sometimes aftermarket are better then oem. Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  23. 360 at supercheap. For a whole hub unit. Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  24. Yea agree around 1500. I would recomend giving them a tidy up yourself if you have the skills. Much easier to sell anything wheb there are no cons to list. Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
