  1. That would be a great help, they are open today 8 till 5.30 and it appears that sales is actually open sat and sun just not service etc. I am completly confident in the dealership which is where much of the frustration lies. She wouldnt buy the last one becuase it had "obviously been hooned", apparent evidence of which was the headunit had been replaced...
  2. So the mother in law wants a volvo. Willing to spend up to about 8K under 230kms, not signapore import, Must have steering wheel buttons and not be modified. So ive been looking for a while and found this http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/volvo/auction-691182466.htm Seems perfect, nz new, low kms etc only problem is she think everything is on auction to either be a scam or to sell a dodgy car. It would be a massive help if anyone on here who might pass through Great south road on the way home or to work could have a quick squizz at it for me, seems they are shut weekends so would have to be either friday arvo or monday/tuesday. Would get an AA check if your opinion looks positive so really just want to check it all starts nice doesnt smash into gear etc. and general feel of interior and body. Bit of a long shot but if anyone felt like helping a brother out it would be very appreciated

  5. If so you can buy good looking fake cats for less than new ones and no power drop Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  6. Yet you only made that post once...
  7. Quite possibly damaged the occupancy sensor. Or seatbelt sensor. Best to get dealer or bmw workshop to clear codes and if the light comes back see what issue is. Light will not go out without being hooked up to computer. Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  8. Good video ruined by music Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  9. Wonder if its actually ecu issues like andy had killing the pumps.
  10. Yea better than no turbo but that extra lag and inefficency from all the piping must make supercharging a winner. Or go nuts and put a big single turbo in front of the engine Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  11. only about 3 minutes of lag that way
  12. does the service manual being wrapped up and mint mean they havent serviced the car? would rather a dirty manual and mint car than the other way around. would be a good car with a manual box (though not an m5) but im not sure i could bring myself to live wth blue leather, would make me feel like a pornographer.

    E38 750iL Cruiser

looks the the perfect size for that car. very good looking
  14. if you cant get to someone with the proper software you could try swapping two coils and seeing if the error code moves. Not the ideal way of dojng things though but yea the other codes sound more likely to cause issues. I can supply new coils for $135 each incl gst.
  15. the result could be you buying an e46..
  16. Found a couple of great deals at supercheap for anyone with a high end car that likes taking care of it.

    e36 m50b28 turbo

is that screen mounted right out of f&f ? nice looking car. GLWS
  20. the small subaru turbos are good for twin turboing about a 3l v6 and the larger ones are good for twin turboing a 4-5l v8. not the greatest turbos for mounting and plumbing. and turbos are usually the least expensive parts. with how tight the engine bay is in bmws i wouldnt dream of it. would have to top mount them forward of the heads and ditch everything in the way abs, water bottles, traction control, aircon. far easier to supercharge
  21. that allows air to escape into expansion tank. very critical. may be able to get a nipple welded on where it should be. Sent from my GT-I8160L using Tapatalk 2
  22. looks like a tyre delaminated and tore away the body work? tyre looks weird like its had someone doing a skid on it, though obviously wrong end of the car for that
  23. might pain you to know he picked up two running engines plus looms for $1200. it hurt me to hear and i dont even play that game haha
  24. i know someone with a few v12s laying around that he was going to put into a boat. probably carb so may sell throttles or whole engine. will ask him tomorow and txt you
