  1. even that shouldnt be too hard to fix. worst case senario, front cut off any E34 they are all the same and put that on. id say $2k max to fix not including the wheel, and thats paying someone to do it for you. so long as A pillars back are allright which it looks as though they are.
  2. and it looks stupid. I know what plate i want for it and i got the money, but havent talked myself into getting it yet lol.
  3. ha, from my signature? They each have their advantages. Im the E30 and E34 mod there, but i dont post there so much these days. Saw you pop up a few times in the E34 section though Its much better if you have a question specific to a particular chassis, you just have to take some degree of consideration in for RHD versus LHD. Whereas here seems to be a much more sociable forum, where you learn about models other than what you own, and can get help from a wider variety of experiences. But Welcome to Bimmersport!
  4. yeah i got street fluid i think, i can only manage a few laps and then have to stop for 5 minutes track all to ones self, that would be nice
  5. im 98% sure it wasnt listed last night... seems strange.

  8. was talking about this today with my grandad, when he was my age he had a very early VW Beetle that was his first car, probably 20-30kW or so without even a fuel gauge apparently. admittedly my fuel gauge is temperemental too, but 10 times the power, its quite amazing. and his Beetle probably had a much higher real value too.
  9. weird, i dont get any issues on any of my gear, work windows xp pc included. although the text in the reply window is really big like the options for font size and smileys etc
  10. Appreciate the advice mate thanks, i assume you must work for Toyota? Ill be changing all the fluids incl diff and gearbox when it gets back down here, so will do the temp sensor same time. where is it on this engine? can be a real pain to find on some motors, like BMW M40 its under the intake etc. our boss picked it up today and is using it to get around auckland for a few days before bringing it home. sounds like it runs very well but I'm going to have sore biceps giving it a well deserved cut and polish
  11. i wonder if its the same egg that rolled the same sort of car and it hit a boulder, someone posted it here several months back
  12. yes they called my work trying to figure out who ultra random was LOL. i forgot to write out your name on the sheet for the dymo labels
  13. let me know if you want to just sell your 316i and get a 325i
  14. hmm maybe. but i suspect parts would be even harder find than Vito? you dont see couriers driving H100s, so thats probably enough of an indication to keep away
  15. Sorry, late to the party on this, but although i havent done that specific conversion, i have done the M52. if the forum you are reading from is based in the USA, just close the tab and find something else. The US engines are totally different, and the S50s even more so. The USA S50 is basically a 3L M50 with some other bits, no ITBs or anything like that. The S52 is the same, and there is no Euro S52.
  16. Thats a good price. I remember pricing it up when i was 15 or 16 and found it was more economic to buy new shocks.
  17. sounds like its running on one bank. sometimes they start up and if they sence a problem the shut down one bank. mine used to do it till we (read: Lance) figured out the problem. runs like an early 525i when that happens, which would be on par with a Falcon lol. but the V12s aren't too expencive in themself to maintain, not much more than any of my E30s, filters/plugs etc are the same price as any other BMW. its just there are two (sets) of almost everything, two fuel filters, two AFMs etc etc. can vouch it looks tidy in real life
  18. Sorry, im not aware of a mass solution for this, but im sure this is one out there. iPads are much more of a consumer orientated device than a work device, im not sure the traditional tablet laptop will be completely replaced. But assuming they are already locked into an existing work appleID, should only be a half an hour to an hour if they are all in the same place to update them all. and lots of broadband data. Havent seen one of the docking stations Clint linked to before even in my work. But that said, I'm still running iOS 4.something on a first gen iPad i sometimes use for work, and it still goes fine. i guess you need to ask yourself/team why you are updating them, is it just because the packet it came in says so, or because you need a new app that specifically requires a particular version of iOS
  19. Thanks Allan, would be appreciated. Ill send you a PM shortly. We have taken a gamble on the one from there, and brought it sight unseen. For some people its cheaper to take a fine or two a week than it is to put a dollar in the meter every time you park + lost time looking for a park. Can be on the high side, but whats the alternative? The Fords and Mazdas are narrower, and even the SWB and LWB are both shorter than the toyota 'equivlent'. A good friend of my boss owns a VW parts company/importer or something like that in Auckland, and told us to keep well away from Transporters, so that leaves the Mercedes Vito and the Mitsubishi L300. From very early on its always been a toss up between these three, but examples in Black are very hard to come buy, they are usually white or red (couriers)
  20. have emptied, got your message, cheers.
  21. you should see his earlier thread. Oli and I got a bit carried away on it. was trying to tell us it had the italian 320iS 2L S14 in in it from the factory https://www.facebook.com/groups/hustlelive/...75799175836568/
  22. Its a 94, has the earlier recessed type headlights. any idea if this one will be fuel injected or not? E: Carjam says it is a 2RZ motor
