  1. maybe i should send mine to you and get you to send it with yours. send me a PM with price etc if you get a chance? i havent had time to look into it
  2. Thinking about upgrading your BMW and thinking about money don't go in the same sentence. Upgrade is $$$ then further maintenence over and above $$$ if you want to stick to a budget upgrading a BMW isn't for you Coming from a guy two projects down and counting
  3. $70 not too bad, should last another ten years at least
  4. Not sure yet ha, kit and wheels will be coming off it, as for the rest haven't decided yet Already sorted that out off Ray. Was waiting for about 6 months locally no one able to help
  5. Its on my front lawn down here now till i get some time to deal with it, is there something you want off it or..?
  6. Im sure its intended as a joke, but its actually right. I know people that are quick to bag thier detectors for tickets they get even using one. None of them are 100%, and there are always situations it wont pick up any signal. Populated area? Long Weekend? Dont even bother to rely on it. Its just a tool
  7. Easier to just make a mental note. I know in my E34 bang on 70mph on speedo is 100km/h on GPS
  8. Just another thursday nights in the Dunedin lockup boys?
  9. Id be surprised if Brian actually sells it?? Never thought id see this day.
  10. V1 here. Why are you ruleing V1 out? Be aware when buying in the USA to get one that the user can program (like the V1) so that when you get home you can activate and deactivate the settings that apply to here. Not all of them you can.
  11. What car is it in? If E30, speed is taken from the diff, doesnt matter what diff you have in there, the spinning wheel is the same. Unless maybe its damaged? Has on either an oversized tyre/wheel combo, or maybe the speedo cluster is out. But all E30s are wrong to start with lol E: its also electronic so no cabel to stretch
  12. Looks great, how is it at night thoigh? Wouldnt have thought much light will get through 7 layers of paint??
  13. If its any consolation, i have heard all sorts of stories from them similar. They are bundled in with the yolo crowd down here. Went to a dyno day, was going to put my BMW on there, but what i saw wasnt pretty in the few runs i thought id watch before signing up. Unfortunately, every boy and his dog thinks he can rebuild an RB or SR engine On the other hand, heard nothing but good things about STM. They must be doing something right, they have two GT86 cars as company display vehicles.
  14. You can buy smaller (and legal) plates from plates.co.nz now, they are the same width as the one you have on there now, but 100mm high. Think it would make all the difference on the front of this car
  15. That should be pretty competitive mate
  16. And i get told my sig is big!!
  17. Dont run an emulator, thats the worst solution you could do. How old is the Mac? If its less than approx two years old it cannot physically run XP or even Vista, only 7 and 8. If its older than that, and rocks and Intel processor, then yes you can install XP via bootcamp. If your not sure, or its right on 2 years old, then i need to know the model number. Will be Axxxx, x's being numbers and found on the bottom of the computer. I have done this on one of my Macs at work just for experience, mainly to see if it runs as good as a machine designed for XP, and really no difference except no right click of course, you need to press Command as you click the mouse. its quite easy to install, PM me and i can run you through it, but Im sure you can find a writeup online. The forums accessed though apple.com/us/ are very good. If you decide its all to hard, i sell Windows desktops and laptops starting at just $40+pp through to whatever you need/want to pay. Call me 9-3pm mon-friday 045896293
  18. ahaha nice, burning a hole in your pocket was it must go one of these days now its going to be interesting
  19. report it. they do enough work to raise their image they dont need this to stop it
  20. told you i wasn't going to upload it lol
  21. When i was working at New World, the produce manager had one, told me it cost him 1600 to have the timing belt changed? the crowd hadn't done one before so was a learning exercise for the aparently. but must have been something wierd for that astronomical price surely? maybe its at the back of the engine?
  22. couple weeks will be even worse. I've just listed my house for sale. but in any case have found if you have a long window, people loose interest and dont pay and the whole thing collapses. We have done two in a short window, will give it a few months before the next one
  23. almost embarassed to post this sh*t photo coz I've been busy today but you get the idea
  24. how about some 18" style 172s? possibly reps, havent looked yet
  25. Looks like only two keen, i do realise not everyone is on here every night, but I cant make it work at these low numbers. So will have to cancel I think. Not a good time for me at the moment to do this anyways really.
