  2. how many more rwhp will it give me? the threesixteenmachine could use a few
  3. if the price comes down on the M40 G240 gearbox its mine. kms etc?
  4. nope that only applies if the engine is being downgraded. irrelevant in the E30 chassis as its all the same but other manufacturers are totally different even though they look the same, think the difference between a normal E30 and the E30 M3
  5. If any single one of those parties was left out of it, they would be the first to contest the spending. those airfares would pay the average NZ salary for 2-3 years. cattle class is probably not appropriate, i wouldnt expect my MPs to be in there even though i do, but first should be fine. Edit: How about this example? im in the National camp (still) but i can see the stupidity in this. a tenth of this is still outrageous
  6. assume you mean E30? you can take the lamp off the bracket and remove the plastic bulb holder then rinse all you like under a tap etc. but the water in there before would be because its not sealing properly, the only two joins on a facelift lamp are around the glass/plastic intersection and also the bulbholder/lamp body. you could put another layer of silicon around the glass? carefull not to make it too thick or the chrome ring wont go back on. could do the same on the bulb holder touhg may be a bitch to change the bulbs at a later date
  7. you dont see weather like that in wellington
  8. havent inspected an E30 subframe recently, but did you bolt the rack to the right holes on it?

  10. does it have the center console armrest? pic and price please
  11. well the 323i is an M52B25. The 328i is the M52B28, which had same power but more torque than the M50B25 which powered the 325i. This in turn meant that the M52B25 had less power than the M50B25 even though it was a newer engine, so the 323i badge was used again (like the E30) and the top model was called the 328i in line with normal BMW model coding. The M50B20 and the M52B20 made the same power though different torque, but the badge was unchanged, i guess because inventing the 321i badge would be stupid lol was made more restrictive mainly to increase the torque and improve fuel economy. Is also why when people do the M52 conversion on thier E30s etc they usually swap on the M50 intake manifold etc but thats getting off topic. confused yet? was the dawn of BMW badging due to where they sat in the lineup, rather than the displacement of the engine. now every model seems to be like that.
  12. i belive that was the reason they were made, as a homologation vehicle for that exact series. Is basically the Merc equivelent of the E30 M3 god, im starting to learn about Merxxx, i must sell mine asap lol
  13. okay, id trust brett on this one. i didnt spot it is a prefacelift car, and ive never had one.
  14. Anyone want to buy the Mercedes before i list it on Trademe? will be listed for $4500 ono, $3500 buys it before it gets to TradeMe. '88 190E EFI 2L 8V (SOHC) 205,000km Auto Genuine AMG Bodykit and AMG rear wing Blue Perforated Leather Interior (a bit worn but it is 24 years old) She runs like a clock now Aftermarket Subwoofer and speakers etc of some description, i think its all Sony gear, negotiable seperately Has had about $1500 spent on repairs in the last year before i got it, and ive since replaced another $800 or so with genuine Mercedes OEM parts, so good to go for a long while yet, would be close to asking price if my labour was charged at mechanic rates. Cooling system is all 95% new including the sensors and radiator cap, only thing that wasnt is the radiator which was pressure tested and found to be fine and obviously the heater core. I also fixed head gasket which cracked due to the over heating. Reason for sale: was only ever brought as a do-up-to-sell project to keep me out of mischief over the tech holidays. that didnt really work LOL Is a much more luxurious equivelent to a BMW E30 Cheers, Andy 0273079322 **Will have some pictures when the weather comes right.**

E85 i havent ridden in but looks a lot nicer imo. Id imagine power is more or less the same though? the boxter does have some go juice if its to DD, pm sam Deli-Lama he used to (maybe still does) DD a 986
