they are a real bitch to do. the fill tube is about a meter or so long and goes right up and over the trans. poke the syringe with a long tube (i used fuel line) on it into that larger plug and keep pumping it. DONT get the oil that is in Repcos catalouge, it is wrong. the only brand i could find (without a lot of effort mind) was penrite or penith or whatever it is brand. i still have the empty bottle in the shed if you want to know the exact type

having said that, some parts for the 330i are different to all other E46s so may be harder to come across and/or more expencive that thier 320i/323i/325i/328i brothers. i havent had one to know the difference mind.

yeah same here, though the first time was longer, helps if you have the tools you need on hand to start with.

put it this way, me along with most people in the B position would probably assume the A car is indicating right because he wants to turn right, not to U turn. as i think hes turning right i wouldnt even look what hes doing because he wont be crossing my line of travel. in 95% of cases this would happen. If im in the A situation and car B pulls up, i cancel the U-turn and either drive off straight or turn into that street and U turn there. its just too risky. (do this on the petone esplinade a few times a week)

I ran my power down the drivers and signal down the passengers but my battery was in the front. is the amp wired to the battery in the boot or to the + terminal in the engine bay? It is plausable that the interferance is picked up on the system, but youd have to have a large gain on the amp. try turning down the gain on the amp and then on the head unit setting the bias towards the non-amped speakers, and then turning the volume up further on the head unit. or just get rid of the front amp. a waste of time if the back isnt amped too

why arent they replacing it?

yep your right, just a relay to the fuel pump iirc, the same system uniden and all that use today LOL
