Hey guys Ordered a clutch kit, comes with spigot bearing, which is for the much more common Getrag gearboxes. However I am using a ZF manual, which as it turns out has a different diameter on the input shaft. Getrag is 12mm where as the ZF is 15mm or 16mm (using a chinese tape measure lol) and is not compatible. 32mm Outside Diameter (Standard BMW) 10mm Width (standard BMW) 15mm Inside Diameter Anyone have a new ZF type one lying around? Don't mind driving an hour or two to pick it up, its still going to be better than 14 days behind as busy next weekend. Of course you only find out these things on a saturday when the specialists are closed lol. Or perhaps someone knows if this same manual is used in other manual cars like Volvo or Audi etc etc?? not sure if spigot bearings are same sizes with different manufacturers. i agree. the twin turbo BMW V12 4x4 buggy here in wellington is run off megasquirt. something like 800hp or so at the wheels

cool! sorry i didnt see it a bit earlier! i like the AC Schnitzer kit on E30s, have a look at the E34 kit as well for a bit more inspiration, on the E34 it comes up and makes the front bumper more square, of course with the E30s idependant bumper, this would mean it would have to be a three piece front kit rather than one piece like the E34

i am one of them lol As is amber (missbm) and a few others that arent members here. Not sure what your post above is in reference to, i have never seen that on there lol. The Euro Car Club page can be a bit eye opening, but much like bimmersport, if you are new, you dont know the cliques and the inside jokes people are having with each other, it does look pretty funny,and not surprising if you turn yourself away. The BMW page on the other hand is actually pretty well controlled really, as we direct most of the off topic banter to the other page etc. of course some stuff slips through the cracks, and your always going to get some tool asking help my car stopped working any ideas. I think any member of here and the facebook page would still ask any serious questions here though lol. But bimmersport doesnt have a patch on the social side the facebook pages have, so really depends on how you want to spend your evening.

ask them out of the V12 and a Prius which is 1/ is more eco friendly to build, 2/ eco friendly over its life, 3/ and the recycling of it at the end. They will focus on number 2

at that milage, there is no way anyone can give you an answer. a proactive owner / dealer serviced vehicle might be fine, or it could have had no major work by that age. you need to take into consideration milage relevant to age.
