you could make yourown for about $50 for one the sub will fit in, but if you want something tuned etc, you will need to plug some calculations of max dimensions online and get some plans made up from an enthusiest. might cost a wee bit more, but will be best solution or just pay $300 and buy someone elses R and D

yeah no matter, i picked up two Clarions head units months ago, Clarion DXZ385USB that tick all the boxes have USB and AUX CD etc everything you need, but most important should look period correct in the dash. but a BMW original would be better! /off topic

Yep will do a video at some stage i did take one but the sound doesnt really come through on my iphone ill grab a digital camera from work in the next day or so. fault codes off all modules yep and adaptions yes, throttle position no, although that would probably explain why just today it has come up with throttle potentimetor error or something along those lines! Hey guys got an E38 728i here doing my head in! Has the M52TUB28 engine, the dual vanos that seems to more closely resemble the M54 than the M52! Anyways. Engine makes a popping sound, sounds just like a pop corn machine. usually will keep running until i turn it off, sometimes just dies on its own. Have throughly checked for vacuum leaks and all seems to be okay. Have replaced the oil separator system anyways, just to be sure. common problem on this engine. Intake boots are new also. Have checked coils, two had been "repaired" at some point so fitted two brand new ones. haven't replaced plugs, they look to be in good shape, i guess thats the next step. DME was throwing intake cam sensor code so replaced that after checking out the sensor yep definitely broken. Revs do not climb and negligible engine change when i both press on the accelerator and/or have MAF unplugged Any assistance where to go from here would be great! Cheers Andy

very unlikely, and i agree. money would be better spent on grippier tyres that work ALL the time. my e30 325i/5 doesnt evenbreak a wheel free the contis stick well

totally agree. and if the care underneath is the same as what it looks like, should be no trouble. otherwise too many question marks! I would think its got to be 7-8k or so if it is a genuine M325i, if just kitted maybe the same maybe a bit less?? the motor should help shift it i would have thought

that engine is very rare to find here in a BMW, have you tried a Land Rover wrecker/parts crwod here? the engine was also used in the older 2.5L Diesels
