i have some on the way too somewhere between here and germany. You must have been tipped off they are still available from the same source as me! E28 might be different, but just push in on E30. maybe take your back seat out (a lot less daunting than it sounds) and have a look, maybe someone has put something on the back of them.

i want to buy one just so i dont forget about it lol

* cant stand those Mercedes V12 badges on these, there are so many E32s and E38s around that have them, im starting to think its not just coincedence and BMW NZ might have actually brought and fitted them from new. The genuine BMW V12 badge is italicised to match the 750i BMW: Merc: Edit: having said that, if the Merc one pulls your rip chord, then let me know because i have a set here lol

we had a courier van do it at work a few years back, thought about it today, front wheels over the edge but caught by the fence. was a full size transit, needed two of our hiaces to pull it out, due to both hiaces having no weight in the back for traction. was a relief driver too, i dare not mention it to our usual courier driver in case he doesnt know lol

was gunna say lol, FWD, no problem, just drive it out!

thought it was going to kick into Moby at the start of it Edit: you know what i like it. didnt think i would say that about another 7. just the headlights and the grill are not **quite** to my taste. rest, mhmmmmmmmmmm might have to chew it over and decide it this is better looking than the E38, i think it might be

I could be wrong, but bear in mind US spec E36 M3 are not much more than a stroked 328i, i seem to remember reading they dont have the floating disks that "euro" spec cars like yours have, i think someone got stung here before. maybe take your old pads with you if thats not a customs issue?

E46 Jamex Adjustables for less than $500?
_ethrty-Andy_ replied to handgrenade's topic in TradeMe discussions
my spring rate is totally independant of my ride height. whether it is at cert height or slammed, the spring rate is the same, you just wind the coilover down into the hub. thats how BCs, Ground Conrtol, and most if not all the japanese ones like Tien etc do it i have never touched the spring rate since it was setup, i am just not skilled enough to know the effects etc. theoretically i could wind the coilover down and then release the tension on the spring for max lows but you know thats not me lol. plus it makes it easier, i know the front is wound in 50mm and the rear 40mm, sometimes i go 65/50 -

they will be, and can be certed, but they are a very poor design. basically they lower the vehicle by decreasing the spring rate, the exact opposite of what you want with a lowered car. they are strictly for looks only. cert is $500ish regardless of what coilovers you use, so you might as well put some good ones in there watch the Mighty Car Mods episode on the VW Golf they built they explain them all there. I run fully XYZ adjustable coilovers in the Touring and very pleased with them. they ranked well in reviews, above BC etc, i took the plunge at lucky it paid off. PM David Collier thru BMW/ECC Page, he imports Yellowspeed which are made in the same factory as XYZ just remarketed. -
Call me up Hyde I have a good mechanicaly sound i7 tower just been knocked around a bit you can buy for cheap as chips, when you get it it will turn out the headgasket is faulty but...

most would get to that age easily before they are worn on average car. just be aware of it, unless you doing big milage you will probaly want to replace again before fully worn

Thats a good idea, one of my best mates old man owns an engraving shop in Petone, i should see what he can do! hahaha i can see how you would read that! nah mate, i go to Macauleys about 3-4 times a week for the last 4 years so i asked them if i could put the car on the scales for intrest sake they only too happy for me to. About what i expected i guess. The touring will be the interesting one.

actually Suzuki Swifts are a pretty fun drive in manual.

Not really an update as such, though i do need to do one at some stage... However took the car down to the Z station, filled it to the top, and then took it to the scrap yard today 100m down the road and put it over the scales, came in at 1440kg (increments of 10kg) with me (75kg) and a full tank of petrol, assume 60L = 45kg according to a calculator online Gives a kerb weight using standard definition online of 1340kg
