  1. This can be spec-ed regardless of MS status. Check the build-sheet for proper MS bits that actually got put in at factory when built.
  2. Replacement books can be bought from a BMW dealer. If you ask nicely, they can look up any servicing done within the dealer network.
  3. I like the e65 kidney grill but with the e66 lights in the front. But definitely a e66 back, particularly the chrome strip that joins the two reverse lights together. I love the 6 series. I'd like a M6 convertible at some stage in future.
  4. Pretty sure NONE of the E46 (FL or not) will comply the new rules. e46 M3 are not rare enough to have a exempt. The CSL might be, but don't quote me on this.

    BMW 6-Series GC

I know they sells and I am sure some people will buy it but I just can't see the point of the 6-series GC, Audi A7 and Merc CLS, which are all essentially the large flagship with less comfortable rear seats. That said, I do like the look of it. The front remind me of the old shark-front 635
  6. Rolls Royce had a prototype of the electric Phantom and asking if their clients are interested. They ain't. Those that can afford them, don't care about price of petrol nor the environment. Should I say, if they really want, they can make environmental savings somewhere else within their power.
  7. Cool product but makes whoever using it look uncool.
  8. You get what you pay for in tyres. In my daily, recently switched from Bridgestone AR10 to Maxxis some random model. Half the price, half the grip, half the confidence they gave me. I have to go round corners 25% less speed in the wet or they slide big time. That's when they are new with full tread, I can imagine it turns into custard at half tread.

How about Maserati Quattroporte? Sure, not as fast as the other cars in the list, but it's different and practical with a hint of Italian.

    Rimpro-Tec

Just don't parallel park or pull dodgey U-turns.
  11. With the roof open, check the tracks to make sure it's clear of any obstacles, dirt, fluff, etc... Wipe clean throughout reapply grease if dry and test.
  12. This one for the Coupe. E462001Cic.pdf
  13. I just can't justify myself to pay that much for something this old.
  14. Front passenger seat occupancy sensor is a common fault but as Glenn said, fault need to be scanned and fixed first.
  15. Autolign maybe? Had good experience with their branch in Mt Wellington Auckland.
  16. Make a glass claim with insurance, get a claim number first. The insurance will try to send you to some glass place (like Novus, Smith & Smith, etc..) but talk to Jerry Clayton BMW and tell them you got a claim number and ask them to follow up with your insurance and see if they can do the work. I was with AA insurance with full cover and had no problem getting my windscreen glass done at BMW. Edit: Actually, call Jerry Clayton (JC) first and tell them if they can deal with insurance ON YOUR BEHALF. Then give them your insurance details. This way, JC can do the run around to get your business, should save your some trouble.
  17. Too much on the tea-pot tape that they can't think straight.
  18. Use sport mode to speed up the change. Yes, the clutch do bite funny when cold. (It's a manual gearbox with automated clutch afterall) You are the second person I know with a non-M3 SMG in the car. Welcome! Is yours 5 speed or 6 speed?

They didn't charge you a disconnection fee (to wipe your contract) without telling you did they?
  20. I would presume some custom metal work to the bonnet?
  21. Well anything V12 has got to be special and rare. Isn't this the one that are used by the Japanese Imperial family (and possibly some Yakuzas)?
  22. I thought we can bring in anything over 20 years and if less than that it has to be a classic, rare or special vehicle (plus Cat A vehicles).
  23. They do. I got couple of free gifts over the years just for staying with Telecom. They don't worth much, $50-60 retail but it's nice to receive something back from the corporates for once.
