Why and how did the rag got there?
-
Not exactly helpful here, but if it's just a run about, does it really need to be looking immaculate? Or should I ask, how bad are they?
-
I am also wondering about the electric turbo bit. But the mock up photo look mean-as.

I know this is a demo car but the stripes are just too showy. What happen to the rear badge, just a "///M" ? Where's the "1" gone. They did "X5 ///M" before.

^^ +1 Mine's a Alpine 9835 back then.

Pretty sure they are 36mm. I haven't tried using LED myself in interior, but the fade-in/out lighting may not work properly.

If you bump into a good service advisor, it's worth the extra at a dealer. My BMW dealer experience has been good at both Team McMillan and Jerry Clayton. They can advise you anything that you need to keep an eye on (tyres, brakes, any sensor problem), also they will make sure the right part and oil are going into the car. Same could not be said for VW unfortunately. They charged me $30 to change a bulb, needless to say I am never going back.

They are 2 different cars aren't they? I'd say custom.

^^ If they have brains, they wouldn't be tailgating. Besides, it only get you minutes if not seconds faster per hour of driving. While it feels really good overtaking people, it doesn't make one any faster.

This just shows how small one's pe*is is, with little respect for his own child. What a way to set an example for the next generation.

So the 3G connection is built-in as oppose to add-on in the standard version? What frequency will that 3G runs on? (As I prefer Telecom 3G over "VodaFAIL") -
The e30 trailer or the hello kitty nightmare? I reckon the trailer is cool!

In a coupe might work but not in a touring.

Not quite, depends on which country. In their native Japan, Nikon > Canon by miles. In here, Canon has their own HQ, support, marketing, etc... Nikon only has a distributor. Hardly seems fair.
-
Have you think of trying the new breed of mirror-less cameras? (Sony NEX, Panasonic GF, Olympus EPL, etc...) They are essentially a compact body with SLR sensors in them. I had a Nikon and now I have Sony NEX5. For 90% of the time, I can do/achieve what I want/need on the Sony vs Nikon. The 10% I can still do but need to fiddle with settings to do the same thing.

Do it, definitely 530d > 525i

The later Bosch headlamp units has a better optical cut-off line even with aftermarket HID fitted (vs earlier using ZKW). Still illegal though, might be able to get away if you hide the ballast well.
-
Hella actually used to make a replacement HID headlight assembly for e36 that uses H2S headlight complete with burner (bulb) and ballast set and it uses halogen H7 high beam. Part number 1AL 008 875-821.

If you are going to replace boot lid after taking off the spoiler, why not leave it there and exchange/sell the original? Save the trouble of removing it in the first place.

Where's AA gone when we expect them to do something? They are usually the one wave their arms jumping up and down in times like this.
-
BMW's impressive. It gets something on the list almost every year. Along with VAG, they have a much bigger volume though.

^^ for some it is. But until NZ gets to Australia or Euro's level of fines, it's hardly a deterrent. Try OZ's $300+ for running red light and double parking (vs NZ's $150 and $60 respectively)
