That's an overall average throughout my ownership of the car (2 years for the 323, 1 year & a bit for the Ti and coming up 2 years & counting for the 330). But I reckon the 330 will have the worse for in-town stop start stuff as it's the largest cc and the heaviest, but once got going, it use very little (relatively). I once had it done 8L/100km on fully motorway driving.

Bad in what aspect? Much of the bad press are usually around the funny look (Bangle flame surfacing) and iDrive, or are you asking about mechanical stuff? Remember they are quarter million dollar cars full of toys, gadgets and electronics, it bound to have a few things going haywire.

I had a e36 323i, then e46 318ti and now e46 330ci. 330Ci is using 12% less fuel with a fair bit more power. (170hp vs 230hp) 318ti is using around the same fuel as the 330Ci but with A LOT less power (half?) Bigger is better Go figure!

What he means is although the car will not indicate an error on the dash, it would light up the side indicator to ensure the car's visibility on the road. So, to counter this, one will still need to put a load/resistance in the light circuit to trick the car NOT to do that.

What do you need to do on your smartphone? Multimedia (video, music, etc...), game or work? Some are better than other in these areas. I use XT on both my iPad, iPhone as well as tethered my Macbook on it. Awesome on both voice and data, almost as quick as my home broadband. My Nokia E72 work phone on Vodafone, voice is ok, data not great unless it happens to be in the patchy 3.5G extended coverage area and only then be (barely) catch up with XT.

I would think they sell more than $30k given how well maintained they are. That said, the current ones have 2 individual back seats with a big armrest in the middle. A bit limited as a family mobile, but certainly luxurious to be chefaured around in them.

Would have thought being a $100k car, wouldn't hurt to cast the metal looking bits in real metal as oppose to metal looking plastic. I would gladly pay extra $50 for that being actually metal, should be enough to cover the material?

Would have thought 135i are pretty good handling to start with seeing it almost on par with e46 M3 on a track. What don't you like about the handling at the moment?
