    Rear badges

Personally, just 330i for me. Too many 318 with a ///M badge on these days. Please don't do ///M330i.... or ///M 3
  2. I would have done the same as the van in my work car, just never in my BMW. Should have make parking a compulsory component in driver licence test. AND If you can't get into a parking space within 20 seconds, clearly you are incompetent to park in it. Give it up!
  3. Same here, had a 96 Civic (still do, now done 210k), 97 Accord (sold) and 04 Jazz Sport (lease expired). All very good, reliable daily runabouts. Jazz - Cheap to run, and you can put so much in the thing it's not even funny. Seat folder down you can put 10 full size suit case in the back. Accord - most comfortable car I've own, good space in the back, decent drive Civic - Cheap to run, good drive, VERY reliable
  4. Surprising no tech toys come up yet. For me a i7 gaming rig with 3x 24 inch monitors OR 55 inch of LED TV goodness.
  5. Maybe see if you are allowedto take your audio gear out of the car and then put back some factory stuff back in? I was allow to do that when I wrote my e36 off few years ago.
  6. Seen some Chinese copies on eBay, never anything by the major die cast model makers though.
  7. Working all thru the holiday. 24/7 stand-by. Decent pay (hopefully).
  8. There's a car storage place on Surrey Cres Grey Lynn, in with a work shop called Forza. Hope it helps.
  9. There're only 2 BMW approved paintshop in Auckland. Precision Autowerks in the shore and German Kollison Haus in Glen Innes. Ray Hasler is approved for VW/Audi group cars. (that means Porsche, Lambo, Seat and Skoda as well)
  10. I hope I am getting what you are referring as "tall". Maybe you have some really tall wiper blades? How about those flat 1 piece aero wiper blades like on the late model VW/Audi/BMW from within the last couple years?
  11. While you are at it, change the rubber around the 3/4 windows if they bothers you. Many E36's 3/4 windows rubber are tatty, rotting, dirty, etc... Removing the windows is pretty much the only throughout way to do it properly. This is my older post from changing window rubber. Almost the same procedure. Hope this helps. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....st&p=107636
  12. Heard that a bunch of those are photo-chopped. Funny nonetheless.
  13. Hi guys, as topic. Today only (Frifady 26th) Can't find anything for me, but hopefully you might find something. Good day!
  14. ^ Regarding to cheaply made these day, it's true. But there are still quality product available and of course they sell at a price. Namely the Nokia E-series, Sony Ericsson X10 Pro, etc... I like phones with metal these day, feel much more solid. Using Nokia E72 at the moment.
  15. Not exactly the "first three", but more of a "oldest memorable three" I had the StarTAC 3000 on the old Telecom 025 then inherited a StarTAC 6000. Then went to then BellSouth on one of those Alcatel with AA battery adapter on the back. Probably couple of other phones in between, but can't remember what they are now. then Sony Ericsson T68, which is state of the art at the time. Still remember the detachable camera accessory.

    Car covers

Maybe a massive drop cloth?? Remember to top up all fluids (petrol included) and pump up the tyres to 40+ psi or even put the car on blocks.
  17. Not sure if this helps, but quite often there are companies that handle excess luggage at airport that offer airport to door service. This might be the go, otherwise, send to Auckland/Wellington to one of us members to on forward that maybe? Quite happy to do this for you.
  18. I am sure they will tone it down for production. I like it. BMW need a super car to keep up it sports car name.
  19. Not too sure if there's any duty on car parts but if over NZ$400 equivalent they just charge 15% GST of your declared amount.

    Aston One-77

Proably won't need it if he can afford something like this. I would put a wild guess at 200k per year on premium with 40k excess.
  21. I've seen this on some wheels, mostly factory alloys and rarely after market rims. What does this logo mean?
  22. Where do you get hold of 20l drums of the stuff?
  23. We keep saying production company paid for the (use of the) car, can anyone actually confirm this is the case? I mean is BMW actually a sponsor of the show? If they are, won't BMW NZ be partly to blame too?
  24. It's still wrong to have shown a high spec model on TV then give the show winner the poverty version.
