Good to see you've got it running again. With the petrol leaks I had a similar problem on my mums car from old rubber hoses starting to crumble away where they honed onto the fixed lines.

Nice looking car. Welcome

Spotted the other Dakar yellow e36 M3 in town and then a matt black AMG SL65 black series. My god it looked good! Also Paul from Milland at my house dropping off some goodies for the M3

Pretty sure Milland has some on trademe

Yesterday seen a e30 and a e36 vert and today a e92 vert.

I want to get rid of the 19s that are on the m3 and go for a more factoryish look for wheels in either 18 or 17". I'm not after the factory m3 wheels but more like some style 5s or 40s or Bbs style. Some Lm 's (reps fine) would look the business on it but are out of stock. Let me know what you've got with conditon and price. Cheers

I ended up getting an e36 m3 evo but if I had the room I probably would part it out, or try reshell it.

Il take a set. Pm me your details -
I have a same problem aswell as the studs going in too far and binding on the handbrake assembley within the rear hub. Have you cut yours down? I'd say taking the tops off the bolts be your cheapest bet. I got a full set of studs to trim down. Havn't done it yet tho haha

Yea I was quoted 520 from Milland and wondered why it was so much when my m52 was only about 100. What did BMW quote you? Hopefully they don't take long to get it to you

Do I need to use a friction modifier with redlines superlight shockproof 70w90 in the m3's diff?
-
I'd been keen on the 235s. Will you send to Dunedin?
-
Went for cert, failed on rear tyres being too small for rim width, need a 235 min on a 9.5

Just ordered all required parts and picked up fluids from local suppliers today. Managed to get waterpump, thermostat, driveshaft coupler and solid rubber front lower arm rear bushes from Schmiedmann the same price as just the from Milland. Should be here in a week or two, had afew items out of stock

Dude! That sucks the big one! Least they didnt damage the car. Hope they get busted for it.

Thanks for that Swordfish, that is miles cheaper so may have to go for that and looks like a metal impeller. I thought that the castrol 10w60 was the one to go for but alot of guys use 10w50 so was unsure what to use. thanks for the clarification.

So I just got a quote from Milland and everything seems like a reasonable price apart from two items. One is the driveshaft coupler/flexdisk/guibo depending on what you know it as, came in at $215. Seems alot for a rubber disk. And the second is the waterpump...$540.90. Why the hell is it so much! My 328i one cost about $100 If anyone (aimed at you Greg seeing you also have an m3 and are oh so knowledgeable ) knows/has gotten them cheaper let me know. Also after the correct fluids, brand and grades, I should be running ( also aimed at you Greg), seems theres so so Sooooo much controversy about what to run. TIA guys

That's good to hear, cheers. Also sorry about pics, even tho I'm on "holiday" all I've seem to have done is work. Hopefully Thursday should get afew up
