Thats minor compared to my spill. The pot fell off the bottom of the gun and now my driveway is black lol.
-
It needs a polish, but not too bad considering how long its been since I last painted, and the issues I had with the gun.

One on facebook. Unknown condition. https://www.facebook.com/groups/bmwnz/

All these guys were great; @BM WORLD I've bought a few things from Brent - great as always. @needsprings - doors @gjm - towbar @EUROHO - body panels @Olaf - springs and MD headdeck @francoisv - e36 shell All I can remember for now.

Used only half the basecoat, but would have used less if I had not spilled half of it. Used maybe a third of the clear.

I did a search and couldn't find anything. I will be filling in the engraved numbers with filler for when I paint the engine bay cause I want the smooth look.
-
I don't mean the vin number on the left hand side of the engine bay, but on the right hand side of an e46 engine bay there is also an engraved number. Mine is 89456766. I need to know as I'm prepping my engine bay for paint.

Yikes, a new crank would have cost a small fortune.
-
Kayne is the man. Why did you replace the crank? Was your old one stuffed?
-
I'm after a sump from the e53 x5 with the m62 engine

There is always the option of gutting the cats and reinstalling them. I've done that before on another car and was slightly louder and no drone.
-
Yea, thats what I was wondering. It cost me $200 to get my v8 block cleaned and checked at Taylor Automotive. You didn't get the block decked or resurfaced?
-
What was done to the block, and what did it cost you?
-
If the car is in good shape, why not just do a manual conversion on it?
-
Would you hire me your spray gear, and sell me any remaining paint, so I can spray my engine bay?
-
What did you pay for it? All these hyde motorsport supercharger setups seem to have tuning problems.
-
Glad they went to a bimmersport member.
-
True, but almost brand spanking new, so a good cheap replacement/repair for someone on a budget. The new springs were red, but I didn't see what brand.

Was at Zebra Onehunga today and there was a e39 523i with brand spanking new rotors, pads, springs and monroe shocks. Factory manual too. Looks like he had just got all new stuff done before someone crashed into him, so would be a steal for someone. Here are the part numbers on realoem; http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select?vin=BT87387

Before you start throwing money at it, get it scanned by a decent bmw tech. How many kms on the motor?

How effective is the ceramic coating? And how expensive is the coating process?
