"E46csl" up on a hoist in Grenada north
-
Was? He m50 swapped it and sold the style 32s...
-
How come? The e39 should have a better chassis, but is it because the e34 is more 'raw' and involved?
-
How can you tell a 318is from a 318is MS? I've got a friend who has a highly spec'd SA 98 318is (rego says MS) in avus blue. It doesn't have a black hood lining though, but did have style 32s

But busses need speed bumps the most
-
How are you going about the abs fitting? Did the car have abs to begin with or is it a complete retrofit, I've thought about adding abs to mine for safety but have thought it was more trouble than it's worth.

Poor kitty We have a similar problem with drivers speeding along my street, which is narrow and has poor visibility. There be been a couple of accidents and many close calls, yet people still drive it like a race track (probably doesn't help its smoother than some state highways). It's totally unacceptable how some people drive in residential areas.

Washed it. Somehow it had gotten filthy and it hasn't moved anywhere lol

I might be able to help. Do you have a flange that doesn't fit that you could swap?

NZ New E30 factory audio gear?
eliongater replied to actletpone's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
My BMW NZ tow bar has exposed wire joins, which is pretty shocking if it was done by BMW. Granted it was taped, but there wasn't even much tape to fall off -
I think the White parts car is Brent's anyway?

Your username is almost more appropriate for the tyre size rather than model

E28 kyb front shocks worth it?
eliongater replied to eliongater's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
I didn't end up buying any. I'm focusing on getting the car going first. Plus I've already got 2 extra front struts and 1 extra back (the other side was drilled for refilling by the PO). Which are KYBs anyway, after further inspection lol. I'd like to get some Koni's but they are NLA, so Bilsteins or spax would be next. -
Time to start a separate e28 lowering thread?
-
I've got a mye28 account and I've never had a problem accessing it
-
Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm not looking to purchase tomorrow, more just getting prepared so I know exactly what to buy when the time comes or to buy when a really good deal presents itself.
-
You just need to know who to ask and where to look. And to get realistic about supply and demand and purchase a good deal when you see one
-
Sorry for the hijack, but what's the ride like with those springs? I've never heard of that brand before, but it seems like a good price (for a German company )
-
Is this it?
-
Haha, fair enough. I thought about sticking my m30 into one of my cousins landys.
-
Remember that what you do has no bearing on what previous owners have done (or more importantly not done) and they could have easily been overheated in the past. If maintained, they should last a lot longer than 200000km like Brent said.
-
Whereabouts? I wasn't referring to the value, more that it didn't have enough power to require huge amounts of grip. If I didn't care I would put $50 ling longs on it... Where did you see the PS3s for that?
-
Any progress on this?

Welcome. Nice to have another e28 guy on here. Post some pics of the rc090s when you get a chance, they look sweet
