I've got one from a manual 535i (m30) if that works?

You can buy the bearings and slave cylinder brand new for not much. Just don't buy a throw out bearing until you've decided on the clutch/flywheel combo. I also have a feeling that being lhd the clutch lines are mostly soft except for a 90 turn just before the slave cylinder.

Thanks Andy, I'll check them out this weekend

Does anybody have or know where to get accurate Alpinweiss 146 paint? Prefer in a spray can as it's for touch ups. Thanks.

What Jon said. If you've found the electrics problematic swapping from auto to manual then unfortunately a newer diesel engine swap is out of your league.

You read my mind (or e28 )

I'm pretty sure the red label is for an m50. You need a standard m52b28 ECU, from 97? Onwards. Talk to Tom (m3_power), he's an expert.

Nice! I love the colour. And e28
-
Thanks. If it fits then it's all good. I've currently got both in my garage, but only a b35 alternator, hence wanting to use the b35 sump.

The broke the spark plug?!

Replaced the number 1 intake rocker on the m30. Just a bit of a pita

I was hoping you would have had one Good point. The m90 was effectively an m88 with an m30 head on it. They were found in e12 m535i and ~1980 635csi. They rev faster than a standard m30 and can easily be stroked to 3.6L if I remember correctly.

Slight hijack... Assuming the e32 sump is the same as an e34, does the e32 sump fit in the e28? I haven't been able to find a clear answer (currently building a b34/b35 hybrid)

You're better of selling it in Europe or the states. We simply don't have the market here for you to sell it for enough to cover your costs and make a profit. If a person wanted a restored 1602 they would have found one in NZ and restored it or imported one already.

As per the title. Mainly intersted in the block, crank and Pistons. Thanks.

Clearing out Garage mostly 97 M3 OEM Parts, some others

Is the guibo the e36 m3 one with LK=96mm/12mm that in theory should fit an m30 e28? -
Took the head off my m30. Apparently I hadn't drained it very well, so I covered the garage floor in water.

Calling all E38 collectors - 735i M-Sport in Welly
eliongater replied to TermiPeteNZ's topic in TradeMe discussions
Almost bought it, but decided that I have too many cars already. If you're keen it's worth the look. Pretty tidy for the price, headlining and b puller lining sagging, airbag light on. Has 5 m parallels, 1 new tyre, 2 pretty good and the fronts marginal. Obc and dash pixels looked pretty good. Has working light up door handles, electric moonroof works (although the fabric is sagging and gets stuck) Trans rebuilt a couple of years ago, new radiator at a similar time (previous one ruptured), 2 year old brake discs. Buuuut, no recipts to prove this. Engine fail safe was occurring randomly or when cruise control was turned on. Resets when DME/ECU discharged. I suspect the problem is somewhere in the electric throttle system or the ECU itself. Is currently under offer for $2150 and I could have driven it away for $2250 (after my previous offers of $1.5k and $2k were turned down lol). I can try answer any other questions you guys have. Has reg till October and wof till the 26/7 Will probably need new front tyres for a wof -
I'll have a look this weekend. Most likely non abs
