  1. This will be my daily and it needs a bit of work body wise. But it’s a straight six NA BMW and that’s all that matters. It’s Monaco blue with grey leather. German made and was once used as a display car by BMW in Germany (apparently).
  2. Spotted a few E39 M5s around Glen Innes/St Heliers. Three this week.
  3. Yep the F20 with the Msport option is a sure winner but that engine is pretty basic. A 130i would be awesome as well. But the shape is not as nice as an E46 coupe.
  4. Oh thank you. I am thinking about it. Need a new daily. I should be getting a 116i F20 as that would be a logical choice but always wanted a 330ci.
  5. I think the 2JZ is cool - because it’s different but the body kit ruins it IMO. It just doesn’t suit an Euro. But hey - people are going gaga over RWB Porsches. Each to their own. For $75k I would rather get an E24 M6. Or even an S54 powered E30 could be had with change in hand.
  6. Parked outside Dressmart.
  7. Oh very nice. They are nice - F20 to drive around in.
  8. E92 325i? Gorgeous shape especially a vert would be a lot of fun during summer. 130i? Z4 coupe or even a soft top 3.0si variant? or... an E30?
  9. I am starting to feel this way a bit too. $50k = E46 M3/Z4M coupe money. But I feel an E30 M3 is not worth $80k or that houses in Manurewa are not worth $1m but the demand is there and that’s what counts at the end of the day.
  10. Btw, the silver Mtech 1 on trademe got sold for $40k!
  11. Calling this mint would be an understatement @ItcheNZ
  12. WBAAB320X00858585 NZ new Mtech 1 black enjoying life. A friend of mine is selling his silver one on trademe (30k).
  13. https://waimakclassiccars.co.nz/listings/1986-bmw-525e/ Back for sale - $28.5k!!
  14. I am pretty sure this previous owner of this car was asking for advice on what price he should list this car for. I think it got sold pretty quickly for around $14k mark.
  15. Thanks mate. Will definitely do that. It’s NZ new and I have all the original paperwork. Yep, I drive it almost weekly. It’s nice to see their values going up but annoying as I will end up driving more carefully and insurance premium will go up too.
  16. Any idea on the price it sold for? Might have change the insurance on mine.
  17. Wow! Can someone take a screenshot of the auction? I didn’t add it to the watch list.
  18. I think prices overseas are steadily climbing for the E28 M535i. I advertised my one for $16.5k and was eventually offered $20k from a NZ buyer and I almost sold it. I had quite a few enquires from overseas buyers but I wasn’t entertaining them. And my one needed a bit of work. I think $25k-$30k is reasonable for that car. They are only going up in value. People are bidding $40k for the red E30 tech 2 on trademe. Yep, a lot of better cars can be had for $40k. But some people prefer driving an E30 tech 2 than a F10 M5. Each to their own. If I had $40k, I would be chasing a Z4M coupe or an E46 M3 manual.
  19. I wonder what price did it sell for. List for $140k and sold for $120k, new owner must think oh I got $20k off and the dealer has still made a healthy profit.
  20. I still remember the Silver one. That was gorgeous especially with that engine.
