  1. That's some goodness goin' on right there. Hard to tell in that light - it aint Phoenix Yellow. What colour is that??
  2. Very nice car for sure. Is that somewhere near a new high water mark??
  3. or maybe THIS for quite a bit less. The m5 was 1 of 2 sold new in NZ. And yes, I know this is a replica --- but it is definitely one-of-a-kind.
  4. I recall a v10 m5 Touring on TradeMe a while ago (2 years?). Number plate was "1of2" Why? Because there were only ever 2 of them sold new in New Zealand. Why only ever 2, you ask?? Mostly because the new price of the TM one (it had a few extra's - not that many) was $287,000nzd. Surprised there were 2 sold, tbh.
  5. Me and a mate bought THIS about a year ago off TM. Paid $25k for it and have spent an extra $4-5k upgrading suspension and removing the one (only!) spot of rust in the car. It's underpowered, but reliable and awesome to drive...... Safe to say the JDM market (among others) is kinda crazy.
  6. Hard to see a better, more original 325 Coupe becoming available. Maybe a new high water mark coming here. Lets blame Covid and no overseas holidays for this I reckon. This,,,,,or the Alpina B.3 2.7?? They will end up at a similar price I would say. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/325i/listing/3022128646?bof=1iaIfysf
  7. Just one, Balancerider, and this is it, As built by HellBM a few years back. The factory made one (only) concept and never went ahead with production, sadly.
  8. lovely, lovely cars these new(er) generation BMW's But gimme old school almost any time.......
  9. oh, you mean this one then???? (all kudos to Ray and his team at HellBM......but I am super happy to be the lucky current custodian.)
  10. I am in need (WoF time....) of a RH Lower Control Arm (or bushes for) for an e46 M3. Nobody here in Palmerston North seems to want to get back to me re sourcing parts....... Any suggestions as to a reliable OEM supplier anywhere, plz??
  11. the "-c" stands for Classic. Peugeot made 30 limited edition cars to mark the very end of 205 production in Australasia. Fancy paint, leather interior and a nice plaque but no other enhancements. Most of the 30 stayed in Aus but a handful made it here. And my number 26 of 30 has been sent back to Perth.......
  12. Not REAL sad to have said goodbye to my '94 Pug 205gti-c, but I did own it for 13 years and is currently the longest I have ever owned a car (BUT, owned my Aprilia m/cycle for 20 years and counting. 1 owner......me). Sadness mitigated by its replacement -- 1985 Toyota Levin ae86.
  13. my initial thoughts are that 275 Trophy is a LOT of car for the money. But reading the description that says it was imported from Aus as a statutory write off would probably explain the lower than usual cost. And may well affect is saleability over time. In saying that - you would never know by looking at the photos. It looks terrific!!
  14. I can see your car choices are not too shabby, either. Is the Megane a 250, 265, or 275?? My nephew had a 250 and it was a terrific machine, but devalued quickly. I can only imagine how good the 275 is......
  15. yep, the '94 205gti-c went to a buyer from Perth. He's a happy chappy!! The Peugeot was moved on to make room somewhere for the replacement car. A JDM....... 1985 Toyota Corolla Levin AE86. A rust-free survivor with a few needs. But I don't think you will find many as original as this one.
  16. Looking forward to summer and getting out and about a bit.
  17. Richard fellow PalmNth local here. Would love to have a look at your project sometime. And if you have not seen, in person, the HellBM s54 M3 Touring build happy to show you and take it for a spin. Yours will chuck out more hp, I suspect.........
  18. "he has enough cars" --- so he would not be interested in my e46 M3 Touring Tribute as a part-payment / trade in??? No?? Pity..........
  19. re M325i -- do you think the km's on this are legit at 330,000km Seems very high to me and the overall condition of the car certainly does not seem to reflect that mileage. Seems a lovely car and quite possibly one that, with less k's on it, I would have thought would appreciate over time as e30 M3 prices go stratospheric.
  20. Guilty as charged, your Honour!!! The carpark was chokka when I arrived (Manfeild vintage swap meet, last weekend....)
  21. best solution -- go see Ray and the team at HellBM and get them to make one of your own.......
  22. That exhaust system alone is worth the asking price...........
  23. I agree. Very tempting. Perhaps not the right colour, but why would anybody buy a near new Toyota/Hyundai/Kia/Mitsi/Holden etc when they could buy this???
  24. the desire here is completely OTT the wallet is muttering in the background........'hey, hold on just a second'.
  25. I have been under a rock, obviously, as this is my very first visit to this thread.......wtf?? Love your work and enthusiasm Richard!! Wish I had your skills and spare time to achieve what will be an awesome result. When the Touring (finally) hits the road - gimme a buzz. I am also in PalmNth. We can do a wee cruise and show the locals what a true e46 Touring build looks like (in my case done by HellBM). Just promise not to embarrass my comparative lack of horsepower!!
