FS: Custom German/Europlates ORDERS NOW CLOSED - Last Order Before Chr
Tristan replied to _ethrty-Andy_'s topic in For Sale
There's a thread for this discussion guys, keep it on-topic in here because it's just a can of worms, really. http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/46634-euro-plates/?hl=%2Bgerman+%2Bplates#entry506096 NB Dave, same thing happened to me. Dangerous as f**k. -
Who is Aaron Lawson and Geoff?
-
I was getting sh*t-sick of my iPhone 4 which had similar problems to your wife's. I was considering changing to Android because I was so annoyed with Apple. In the end, I got a 5S and couldn't be happier.
-
Much better! Very clean
-
If that were true they wouldn't have the option on there at all for manual.

OOM5OO E34 in OGGB. Got an exam today or are you staff?
-
Most people aren't enthusiasts. They don't drive purely for pleasure and enjoy the journey. They want to get to the supermarket.
-
I looove 458s.
-
Yes you're both right; I was more (and admittedly I wasn't explicit) referring to situations like the E60 M5 where if the box goes it's a massive fork out. But then the argument could go to "Is an SMG an automatic".. /opencanofworms
-
Simple answer is that if you can't afford to own it, you shouldn't own it.
-
Now to figure out if the Quaife is $500 better
-
Awesome man, before reading your post looking through pictures I was thinking the front end is the only thing 'off' about the car. Good score.
-
Yes it's by no means an "automatic". SMG II was in the E46 M3s; it was updated to SMG III in the E60 M5s. From memory they were offered in manual to the US market.

Not sure, I don't keep up with Porsche new prices because I'd never buy one new haha. Just look at that depreciation... -

This thing destroys my car in every way shape and form (other than comfort). It handles like it's on rails, totally glued, planted as. It's a totally different machine, and my old man's priced it to sell. Still got the original receipt... $319,000. Haha -

Thanks Rob - Yep, looks like it's already got an interested party wanting a PPI. Not sure why this was moved to TM discussions... -

I drove the R8 V8, it's a nice car to drive but nothing "special" (I imagine the V10 is a different story). The things I liked were the mid-mount engine and 4WD, since driving one, I wouldn't consider a V8 model again. I drove a 2010 RS5 and it was boring, has it changed? If you were getting a 997 Turbo I'd be going for a manual, rather than the first-gen automatic. If I wanted an auto I'd go PDK which is 2010 onwards I believe, but then they're still quite expensive here (not sure about Canadian market). I loved the 997 Turbo I drove, I wouldn't discount the 996 Turbo though. They are quite different cars. I'd almost compare the relationship to the E46/E92 M3, one is raw and the other refined if you know what I mean. R35 GTR was fast and fun but lacked character. I think I'd get bored with it within a week, and the interior is not for me. I'd probably be looking at the Porsche's if it were me.. Happy to answer any other questions about the cars if I'm able.
