    M3

Very good - can see it now
  3. Oh right, na that's an older one. Think the one at IP has sold too. Still a good looking car!
  4. Is that the stunner of a Verde Ithaca Superleggera at Independent's at the moment? Beautiful car. Has contrast stitching (Verde Ithaca) in the alcantara... Mmm Also saw the frozen grey M3 the other day on Prince's Wharf. Love the colour, very nice. And the semi-smoked tails aren't too bad in person. And "Spotted" - A green E34 520i badged with "M5", "Individual", and "520i"... I drive past it every day, finally took the time to find out if it actually had individual spec on it and it doesn't OH! And this one's great. A Merc CLS63 badged up with AMG and V8 bi-turbo all over it at the lights beside me revving like crazy. Launches ahead and continues to drive all over the road, and I kept thinking... That just doesn't sound like a 63V8.. The almighty carjam reveals it's a CLS350. Had a wee laugh to myself, hope he didn't buy it thinking it was actually a 63.
  5. Don't have the time for it at the moment and I had them off the car already so dropped them in before work and picked them up later
  6. Correct me if I'm wrong but would whether or not someone showed you $10K make any difference to insurance as stipulated in a policy? Sounds like BS to me.
  7. Thanks to Seth @ Carfolie for wrapping my bonnet vents and front kidneys in gloss black.

    I don't get it?

X5 so you never have to give way again.
  9. What restaurants did you do? I'm currently in Remuera, have been in Mission Bay and St. Heliers too (12 houses in my 21 years here in Auckland).. A few words of caution (from my experience of course): -Mission Bay is a lovely place. Every man and is dog is here in summer though. Really convenient supermarket shopping at Eastridge (Kepa Road/Patteson Ave intersection). -Another place to recommend is Orakei (Houses in most price ranges here from what I've seen recently). It's situated between Remuera and Mission Bay. Lived here for awhile too on separate occasions. Always really liked it, relatively quiet, short commutes to town, convenient supermarket at Eastridge (again) or Countdown in the city. -Remuera is great, prices can be "up there" though. Excellent central location, even after moving here from Orakei it feels worlds closer to everything including motorways (Southern/Northern). I love living here for the location, but I also love a view and a house with a view here will.. Well, I know of one for sale and they're asking for 8 figures. -St. Heliers - Lived here for a year. It just felt like "the end of Auckland". Felt like it was miles away from EVERYTHING! Long drive in the mornings/evenings to the CBD. Tamaki Drive is an arterial route from the bays and one-lane for the most part. If you want to hear anything else about other places I've been around Hope this helps at the very least.
  10. Haha so it's not just me that notices things like that… I changed the one on my current car when I got it because it didn't "flow"…. GJY673
  11. Nice looking car but wtf is going on with those tail lights?
  12. Na it's an 08 as well, but lower mileage and NZ new which is attractive. I don't think the prices will drop much. It's not like in the UK or US where the price of the next-gen isn't much more than the predecessor, whereas I'd expect the new M3/M4 to be $170K+ which is still such a massive difference from buying an E92 M3. It's not like you'd say, "for $20-30K more I could get brand new, updated model." like if you were overseas. Here, it's still $100K more. Just my 2c
  13. I was looking at a C63 AMG , fairly sure it was performance pack, 2011, 39,000kms - only $65K. Sold before I could sort out finances. Was a bit gutted but oh well. Alternatively, considering a black M3 E92 at Independent for $70K. Only 26,000kms or something. Hmm.
  14. Haha C63 AMG… I'm considering one now Yeah, the rod bearings or whatever they're called seem to be the main issue. I haven't seen a huge amount of them though. Nonetheless, it's a fantastic car. Sounds like bad luck to me.
  15. It's a 2008, Pre-LCI, manual. Haven't had any issues in the 6,000kms I've put on it since August '13 when I got it. Sure, there have been some problems but from what I can tell it's by no means been "horrendous". In a perfect world I'd have gone for a later model LCI, but for the price I got this one for I couldn't be happier.
  16. I can't help but detect that this post was playful forum banter, rather than an insult to any SMG drivers. Care to elaborate
  17. I visited that dealer the other day and happened upon this car. It was in fantastic condition (looking from the outside). Looked like a nice example.
  18. Took awhile to find a configuration where I could pick up the house's fibre connection properly; I was sitting on 20-30mb/s but managed to arrange everything and this was the result! Very happy.
  19. Looks good, man. Are you going to be lowering it any more?
