Saw 'LYKFYR' the other day in the CBD (Victoria St.?) You were heading towards Skycity coming down the hill. Your M has so much road presence! Love it

If it was a stock exhaust I can throw up a pseudo-before clip later. Need Supersprint ... aha

Went for a good price!

Legend status achieved.

Thanks Lucan; Will give him a bell tomorrow during work hours.

What are you wanting done? Ryan @ AutoTechInstalls was great with a radar detector install for me. He does some other things - see his website: www.autotechinstalls.co.nz -
As in title, I'm looking for H&R or Eibach springs Cheers Tristan

I may be wrong but I was under the impression that they could no longer be imported.

Meh - A bit dicky but at least he's put effort into the listing. It's a stark contrast from this crap (http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index.php?showtopic=45621) It would seem the car is a tidy example, albeit IMO a few grand overpriced.

Did you see the red 325(?) SE manual in maybe 2011, 25,000 odd on the clock? Is that the one you're talking about?
-
You want something cheaper to run (doesn't get much cheaper than a 318i?) and you've just restored it to what you call "mint" condition. What else is there that needs to be done? If you've bought it, dropped a grand on fixes, I would've thought it would be a safe bet to keep it. 2c You stalkin' me?

Woops, yep should've said Chinese. Sorry
-
Yep you can be fairly sure a driver with the 8 personalised plates will be Asian!

Interesting. One of the M3 owners whose car I was considering had a list of 100+ plates that HE OWNED and was selling. It was clearly a list of his inventory, and had the selling prices, and also whether or not they had sold. He had a couple of 1 letter ones, one of which had sold for 6 figures (apparently). He also had the plate 1V (on the E46 M3, now on an E92 M3 )and that was listed at $90K.. This is interesting. I'd assume it was bought by Chinese; for those who don't know the 8 signifies money/wealth, so you can see why they'd want that. Maybe they didn't consider the four eights. 4 being "death"... Death to money? Hah.

Kyu - I've mostly heard good, although a few contrary ones. Yep, definitely a try it yourself thing. Re: parking Thanks, but I get free parking in a few places in town Ah damn. No pork sliders anymore? Would've liked to have try them. Going to try Wine Chambers over the weekend - apparently it's quite good. We'll see Thanks

Haha. I tried to get into Depot but didn't want to wait an hour. I hear it's good! Ended up going to Pastis - A french place opposite the Empire round the corner. Not too good ... There was a blue (darker than mine) E46 M3 on black wheels, lowered, at Team McMillan the other day. I suspect it's the same one that sold on the North Shore about 3-4 months back.

Ryan, you should get one. I know how much you love Cubes

I can't help but think there is more to the story than comes across.

Don't know if you're in AKL but at the Warehouse/Bedpost in Newmarket its what I assume to be a private carpark run by Wilson. I was in the secluded upstairs area (maybe 15 parks and shipping bay for Bedpost) and had a paid ticket. Whatever, live and learn

A friendly man added a mod for me. A $65 parking ticket, in an empty (1 other car) carpark for being 13 minutes overtime at 10am on a Sunday.. Yay
