  1. IMO the pinicle of car design and simplicity was reached in that 80s-90s era. The 8 series was no exception. I could fill a garage with cars from 85-95 and not miss much from 95 onwards !
  2. If it comes with the dog and dog damaged interior it's totally worth the asking price!

    My new hobby?

Wow, impressive stuff, like old school forced perspective movie making techniques.
  4. It looks quite tidy telling from the interior photos though Probably could be had for mid 5s but a decent manual is hard to come by, especially if original with service history documents.
  5. At least it wasn't one of these. Theres one that floats around Auckland. Mmmmm

    Darin's 36

This might motivate me to put in the rear 1/4 window seals i bought 6 months ago! Nice Darin!
  7. Sounds good Dan. While you already know this, the headers will hold you back a good ~10rwkw, stock ones are pretty diabolical, especially up top you will feel that 'strangled' feeling. I've just done headers, and a cold air intake, dialed in 150 rwkw at the dyno so just over that 200hp mark which was about what I guessed. A tune will sort the typical toyota overfueling up top which my run showed nicely on the a/f ratio. Max power on a stock engine? Who knows.. What did the LINK ecu set you back?
  8. Haha yeah it's pretty much like that with the stock engine management It will be interesting to see what yours dynos in at... manual, link, Id expect 175rwkw+ if you also run good headers. What are you doing for exhaust manifolds?
  9. Welcome Glen, nice 328i you picked up there. Looks like it has plenty of potential!
  10. An old mate of my not from here said he heard my car go up a street the other day, said he was pretty impressed & that it sounds awesome. I wish I could hear my own car drive past
  11. Very nice bit of bracketry!
  12. Yeah that will be the way to go I think Much less complicated and cheaper! Half as many welds to do as well and you get more freedom to place the muffler strategically, apparently having the X pipe at different points will affect the 'scavenging effect' for more or less power at peak rpms - but finding that place is either trial by error or by some technical calculation I have no idea on haha.
  13. This is what I usually do with great results. Spray the engine bay with WD40 through out, you may need to wipe some areas that are extra dirty. Cover key electrical areas with some small towels Hose the engine with a fine mist spray - don't over do it Remove small towels and spend 30 mins or so wiping the engine down to clean the surfaces Air compressor or blow vac the whole engine bay to remove excess water / wd40 CRC silicone spray the engine bay sparingly, and wipe it around to give a nice finish
  14. Mmm that logger system is totally worth a look, Josh was kind enough to give me a run down on it the other night, such a well implemented setup, it really opens a whole range of possibilities, perfect if you're tracking you're car and need to know what is going on in a clear concise way.
  15. Mmm I've never liked non OEM parts, theres a reason brands have reputations! Nasty crash by the looks though. Is the rear window still intact?
  16. I've updated the OP to include the S4, Falcon Turbo and both C63 AMG sound files. Enjoy! Again sorry Martin / Ray for not getting full clips of your V8s running up, I must have got distracted while the fuses were being pulled. Argh!
  17. Hi guys, I'm after a complete subframe in good condition with all parts attached, with or without diff, but must have the bigger spec 325i - 328i or 3.0L M3 axles with vented rear disks preferably from lower kms example let me know what you have! Cheers Mike
