    Need help

dont know tooo much on this but im sure you can have it re threaded wit a re threading tool and use a small nut and different washer and bob your uncle haha http://www.google.co.nz/imgres?q=rethreadi...106&bih=626 copy past that or there are other tool kits call around someone may be able to come out to u
  3. often putting heater fan on raises idle and slight increase in cooling system pressure mmmm id look for a pipe just not on tight enough or a small hole that with elevated pressure leaks very difficult to say but where do you see water/coolant??
  4. in theory it could work but the standard push rod has grooves im sure for the metal clamps that seal it up soo mmm quite a gamble where are you based i got an old clutch slave if you want it? got the push rod comes off a getrag 260
  5. check all the hoses as in remove and clean refit not just look at them or feel them haha start with the one from cam cover to bottom of intake can fill with crap causes all kinds of issues...um and then by the idle control valve and all connecting hoses to the throttle body but avoid the coolant hoses if yours has the old wax system as they are brittle connection to the waxy thing on throttle body...basically just trace them back before disconnecting good luck mate p.s may also wana try a mates air flow meter
  6. start it at night and look for loss of spark a plug lead earthing somwhere maybe?? check plug to airflow meter aswell inspect underside of intake for a vacuum hose that came off, have had that before revs high and splutters with popping sound
  7. yea probably the better idea dammit lol all good thanks for the opinions
  8. damn i actually had liability insurance at one point mmm i meant i could bring the jack etc all tools needed and literally do it next to your building hahah
  9. might just do that mate but was kinda hoping id be able to do it myself..have done everything else ion my car...not fond of sending it to someone else and learning nothing plus i quite enjoy working on her haha just need a damn bearing puller..only have a bushing puller maybe make one haha
  10. howcome?...seems a little unfair considering i said i would think about it i was just waiting for a reply to see if someone would help sorry but i find that a little rude...so the price would be more expensive all of a sudden?yikes

  12. appreciate the offer glenn thanks will see what i can do....will see if someone here has the tool or would it be ok if i came down and disassembled the rear so you can remove and replace bearing and i would reassemble?? would cut labour cost alot for me ..thanks
  13. wondering if someone would be so kind as to assist in borrowing me a tool or two neccessary to replace my rear wheel bearing on my e30 im told i need some kinda puller and perhaps a pusher i have the bearing and have isolated the wur wur sound to the bearing not being good i have all the other tools and the charge at a garage is too steep considering it taks approx an hour to get to the point where youd use the puller and another 1 hour reassemble anyone got what i need or perhaps some experience with doing the rear bearings? cheers

  18. i went full whorey on them when i had an e36 i just lost the plot but it never broke after that got a bunch of tapping screws and small washers along with hot glue and it worked was very careful not to let the screws showor go through the door mold
  19. youre porbably on the right track...having hard start issues arnt you?? i was and figured the fuel rail was loosing pressure overnight or if it sits for a while because once running it would start easy everytime so threw in a second hand FPR and now starts first time every time if its not that it could be a leaky injector and ud test that by removing fuel rail and applying power to fuel pump to see if any leak if not that theres a check valve on the pump that could be the culprit hope this helps

could be mistaken with the CR but yes it goes very well and very strong ive been made a few offers around the 10k mark but couldnt part with it just yet i have the bad habit of making a car nice and all but then being bored and getting something else haha always seem to come back to e30's though
