Then you'll love this, I can't believe nobody has put the police to the sword over it. Read the danger spots at the bottom, then read the radar spots. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=11168484

Ours stranded us once in 70,000km (from 260-330km), fuel pump, in the garage at home. New one and away it went.

My cousin in Oz is a pursuit cop, they use manual FPV F6s and love them. XR6 Turbos in the city I think.

An Eco boost Falcon is tested at 6.8 for 0-100, an E39 540i at 6.4, better hope they don't get a good start.Power and torque are supposedly identical for the 528i too. I can't see why it shouldn't be reliable.
-
It is a CVT, not an auto. Would explain the perceived lack of performance too, they never seem to deliver.
-
I think it's a huge shame. I love my Turbo Falcon and think it's massive value for money, for what I wanted it for a, V8 Commodore was also on the list. Having driven it for a while now, why anyone would rather drive a slow, roly poly SUV is beyond me.

Were they the wrong length for your cab?

On the off chance that somebody might be interested, I have a couple of cars for sale. One belongs to a mate who has bought a new GTi Golf and the other is my mothers car, she now has a 1 series. Neither of them are particularly interested in dealing with TM, so it's my job. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/audi/a4/auction-664666160.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/toyota/supra/auction-665298240.htm Let me know if you have any questions.

I have a Tech 1 on my cab, I'm pretty sure I'm right. Good luck.

Cabriolet Due to the deeper sills of the Cabriolet model, the front wings are incompatible with the other E30 body styles. Cabriolet wings have a longer section at the bottom to match the sill, so a standard wing will be too short. However, it is possible to weld the extra section on to standard front wings if needed. Fortunately, pre- and facelift cabriolet wings are the same so if you're trying to source a replacement, they'll be a little easier to find

I think it's a Zender kit. The cabs have deeper sills, so I doubt a standard Mtech 1 kit would fit. PM me your email if you want and I'll email you photos of mine for reference.

Is that all an 87 Corvette is worth? Maybe I'll ditch the E30..... Why don't you get that Nz new 540iT that was on here, 2002? Change some stuff over and voila!
-
Has anyone got the $ figure to maintain it properly to that mileage?
-
What size/age range does it cover?
-
Something about having to tap into a different part of each car to get an accurate measure and too time consuming. Odd, because I saw a torque graph come up during my run, but first time at a dyno, so who knows?
-
If they're Michelins on the front, I'd expect Michelins. Otherwise, not sure.

I am corrected. Spoke to my good friend tonight who is relatively experienced with E30's and it is in in fact just a standard E30 spoiler. Looking around some diagrams I have got myself a reasonably good condition rear spoiler (P/N: 1 916 038). Was looking for your Tech 1 spoiler though (P/N: 9 057 958). Thought I had one in the garage, but I have the same bit you have. I think it's actually the bottom part of a Tech 2 spoiler. I have a Tech 1, but it and the rest of the kit are attached to my cabbie.

Forget the steering lock, waste of money, must have delayed the thieves on my Legacy by a good 8-9 seconds and ruined the wheel in the process.. I've had Mongoose, AVS, Alpine and Dynatron, if I had to get another, I'd go Dynatron again. Supposedly, they work better with Japanese cars, Jared on here is an installer, he would have a good idea. I can't remamber his user name though. I have his number, PM me if you want it.

Where are you? Could be keen on roof and pillar trim.
-
You did come, I saw the car across the road, thought I recognized it.

I bought a 118i for my mother earlier this year, it goes absolutely fine for around town, but I don't think I'd take it on a trip with more than 2 adults, passing would be a chore I suspect. As Paul said, space is down on others (we have a Mazda 3 that would kill it on space and performance), but it drives really nicely, feels like a big car in ride and handling. Haven't heard about chains slipping (maybe Glenn has?), only oil leaks, supposedly preventable by cleaning a valve somewhere and an oil feed pipe, it's mentioned on the forum here somewhere. With the Professional stereo, auto xenons and auto, it's a nice place to be around town.

Is parking a car with no WOF outside your house illegal?
Palazzo replied to Dingo's topic in General Discussion
As the reg is on hold, I'd argue that, it counts as a continuous licence, so can't see why if LTSA recognises it, council doesn't. The wof on the other hand, try a letter, but I don't like your chances. Are you sure a neighbour didn't complain? -
Welcome, come down to the Dyno day, should be fun.

Black shoe polish is great on girls white pants, ask my partner. I'm sure RJS did a write up on this somewhere, in a convertible? There's a company in the UK that does complete kits for reasonable $ and I think they have a NZ outlet. Or try this: http://www.pellecare.co.nz/ UK one: http://www.liquidleather.com/
