i've spotted one that might be worth my while, e91 325i but the km's are a bit high like 210,000 my old 330ci had like 220,000 on the clock and still no issues, it just kept chugging along are these engines just as bullet proof?

Maybe I need to skip the wagon hunt and get Brent's 335 if it's still there.

08 325 e91 or 330 ? I'm eyeing up 325 08 ish, the prices have come down heappppps over the last year

Does the wagon really weigh that engine down heaps? I'm not looking for an accelleration monster, but if it's sluggish maybe I need to look for the 330 model

Having BMW withdrawal symptoms and want to get another project car eyed up anyone got an e30 4dr 2dr don't mind, with live plates, it can be beaten up. as i'll be looking to do an entire re-spray

lol yeah .. i keep finding other strange things , you know like transmission mounts not bolted in AT all in the sub frame ... that would explain that "clack" noise accellerating in first gear lol

Anyone you would recommend? (I'm in Tauranga but wouldnt mind traveling to hamilton or Auckland) Keep hearing stories of people fitting dodgey alarm systems. Any alarm models to avoid? Just looking to fit basic alarm / immobilizer / remote entry into a car of mine. Cheers

The newly painted rims are on might have to eye up a BMW wagon project next, after i've had a bit of fun in the 20v 4age pretty much done now, apart from i might rip the motor out and rebuild the bottom end, i hear a big end rattle under load ?

restored some wheels, for me new ones I saw some CSL wheels on a black BMW that were a dark matte / gun metal type color, so tried to colour match it and a repaint also in there this one was the least bad for curb damage

I'm keen to hear what that suspension was? When i took it round some corners I nearly wanted to run back to the safety of my e46 330ci! Well it's ok, but always feel like im about to exit the road XD

you could be on to something there - there is a strange oil leak i have discovered, running down the block, might be nothing, might be something - but its either the a) valve cover in the corner (im struggling to find the wet trail from the top) b) oil sensor in the head c) the HEADGASKET?? so i thought i would ask, have you heard of those TRD head gaskets (direct from toyota) to leak externally? i.e. gallery seepage down the block

Wondering if anyone could describe early symptoms of big end bearing wear. 220k on the clock. Engine makes a slight rattle under load, like If I put it in a lower gear and accelerate it up a hill. No rod knock noise though, I know what that sound is like. Is the crank usually un harmed at that phase? Thanks!
