  1. i think you got lucky mate, i have had instances like this, i think you would have luckily missed your valves. Ive cranked vehicles over before with valve hitting and you cant miss it. Not a happy sound or feel.
  2. Any one ever did the seals in the power steering rack ? How easy are they to rebuild since a seals kit and price of a second hand one are relatively identical

  9. ^^ dedication this is a remake of a game i used to play in comp class http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/pingu2 gets both boring and frustrating, and i just spent 2 hours trying to beat my miss's fluke damn score. 1100 so far highest Was any one a fan of duke nukem ? you know they were in the process of making the sequel for it (one of those sequels that take a decade to do), but they went bust because lack of funds I quietly would actually be keen to see what they could come up with

  20. have you tried threatening the car with possible out comes if it does not start ? worked a few times for me but then again, mine had a dizzy cap
  21. I can put 100 dollars on that this is some thing basic and stupidly simple as a mechanic once told me, cover your basics, its not very often you do a simple thing and some thing major goes wrong. for instance, i did an engine rebuild once, put it all back together, cranked, spark, fuel, air, and nothing. pulled it apart, rebuilt it again thinking it was some thing major, did the whole process again and . . . nothing then i looked at my leads going hang on, cylinder 1 is near this end ooops. Check your leads are round the right way. Some thing stupidly simple, but you never know
  22. well according to the bimmersport youtube movie, i would say "check your dizzy cap", this sounds very similar to the problem that i had with my e30, after touching a earth that goes to the sump. But you haven't fiddled at all under the bonnet ?
  23. that is possible, but he bought it off some one in bm autoban, i wouldn't imagine some one that worked in there would muck that up. do you think its pre detonation ?
  24. man cars never cease to amaze me, i read this both sympathising and rejoicing, because i thought i had problems, those problems you thought no one else in the world had with cars. Keen to know what it was. Reminds me of the story i punctured a tyre on the way out of the place that fixed the same leak.
  25. actually, what i was thinking, is i know that the thrust bearing definately needs replacing, if the thrust bearing is bad, wouldnt the engine under load expose that more, and the noise get louder ? assume that the thrust bearing is absolutely shot here
