Pretty easy bouncing along on on one knee and a leg until that end ditch

Just ordered one from Coombes Johnstone BMW for my E38, $180 for a std key without remote locking which i think is around 400

What does one have to do to make a e38 sound like a proper v8

Got a setup that looks the same as the one brent posted on the E38 740i and it sounds good without being loud. Mufflers are def stock on mine -
Dinan did a E32 750i twin turbo, was rated at around 450hp and 600nm iirc.

Good tip, learn something new everyday

Used to love Subaru SVX's and was going to buy one as my first car but decided on E34 instead, still dont mind them. Cant see myself ever liking the an E60

V12 doesn't use that much more fuel when cruising, around town where it sucks it

Had a look at that grey one and it was pretty tidy apart from rolling on 4 different brands of tyres haha. Also this one http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-344887840.htm. Not sure why he doesn't just paint the front already.

Ive had Escort X50, Bel RX65 and V1 which are all top detectors and currently running the V1 at the moment. The V1 has alot of useful features that others dont have, some of which some have been mentioned, V1 also can have its firmware upgraded but are paying another couple of hundy. As for detection i found Bel and Escort did the job just as well as the V1 while being cheaper. IMO it comes down to if you want to spend a bit more or not. The new police radar vans use a low freq K band which i find get you only a couple of seconds warning with a good detector, also you will get all the false alerts from automatic doors.

I'll probably come for a bit of a quiz

My E38 740il gets 8.5L\100 compared to 10L in the 535i, hardly better than my old E32 750i. The M60 is much more refined but still prefer the bulletproof big six

Good to see its still in the family. Shouldn't give you any grief for a long time if you treat her right, solid E30. Still have the front lip i meant to give to mark

Final measurement of rear camber seems a bit odd considering how it started. Rest seem ok to me but not used to see measurements in degrees

+1 on k's, i dont why people get so caught up on it as it means jack all

Good to hear. Still in the bimmersport family?

I agree with kiwi535 and get they latest one you can at the time. I'd never buy one that was earlier than 1982 as suspension setup is too archaic. Good site for info if you haven't already found it - http://www.e-24.ru/eng/theory/evolution/ . ' They changed something every year almost. Wanting a 635csi one of these days, just holding out for a tidy decently priced manual.

Sounds like it could be the DISA valve but like others said really need someone to check it out
-
Sounds like the blower motor has gone either that or the final stage resistor

When i got my 535i it had done around 510,000km and all i replaced suspension wise was front shocks and sway bar links as the boot were cracked. Where service history and receipts come in useful so you know whats been done. Out of all the E34 and E32 ive always been able to fix shimmys by getting wheels balanced and swapping the best rims and\or tyres to the front or just swapping front to back.
