Got the posted setup in my E30(soon to be Mark V's) they work well. I installed the toe adjustment bolt facing towards the diff so easy to adjust but made the nut on the otherside near impossible to get at with filling down an open end spanner

John @ Hillcrest auto service is ex BMW mechanic, knows his sh*t. -
Mark V who buying the body and running gearbox might do something with it. Drove ok standard but wouldn't want to drive it too hard or track it. Think i made a showroom thread that listed most of it. Apart from nearly replaced every perishable part in the car - all urethane suspension bushes, shocks\springs, swaybars, toe\camber adjustments. Engine fairly stock just headers and chip'd.

My mate was full set of TRX alloys and tyres sitting in his garage, tyres were about 1\2 worn iirc, god know how old they are.

Nothing wrong with 4 doors if its a daily, id get pissed off not being able put stuff in the rear with a fuss, not to mention if you have to carry more than 1 person.
-
Not sure yet but always wanted an E24, not many manuals thou

Yeah got electric ariel, a supercheap auto job. You talking about fan\air temp panel?
-
That spacers just fit over the original bmw hub lip and basically create another exact lip which your wheel sits on. Dont replace hubcentric rings as they are same wheel hub diameter (57.1mm iirc) as original. Basically just a 15mm extended e30 wheel hub so still use hubcentric rings on them if you wheels need it

Need another set for track rims, may have sorted something

My GPS is dead accurate, goes up by 1km when you tap to cruise control forward which tell it to increase speed by 1km. All my E34\E32 have read 4-5km lower than speedo but my E30 reads 10km low. Speed signs seem read a coupe of kph higher than gps for me
-
Km are fairly irrelevant imo as long as its been looked after. The average person seems to judge cars based on the km. My 535i i picked up has done around 502,000km(alot of sth island driving), still in very good condition and drives just as good as any E34 ive owned.

Yeah would of thought you'd get hit up running 205's on 9's
-
Get a leak down test done, that will tell you.

+ 1 for the headgasket. Noticed my coolant level down and hard hoses a few days ago too, replaced the expansion tank cap for a last resort but knew it was a long shot. Car done over 500,000 and been looked after but nothing lasts forever.
