    E30 M3

Cant say like the white wheel or white dials but rest is mint
  2. They look crazy(in a good way)
  3. I went with BOGE shocks myself I know rear SLS springs are basically a support as the shocks control the ride height so you wouldnt use them in a conventional shock\springs setup. Apparently EDC springs are ok to use but since you have SLS\EDC on the rear im guessing you would need to get some std rear springs and re use the fronts If you going with bilsteins id get lowering springs to suit or get the shocks revalved, otherwise it would be a harsh ride. If you keeping with std springs id get Boge's but bear it mind it wont handle as good as a working SLS and\or EDC system or a good springs\shock combo
  4. Yeah ive never had a look at how an E38 with SLS and EDC is setup before. Id imagine the rears use the hydraulic system for leveling and are also electronically controlled for damping. Dont have part numbers on hand but i got most of my parts from pelican parts so was just of choosing the non-self leveling\edc parts. The plugs i used were part no:07-11-9-919-228-M9 Are you planning on lowering it at all?
  5. Recently did this myself on the E38 740il, not hard just time consuming doing the rear and $$$. Since you probably have SLS and EDC you would need new springs, shocks, strut mounts etc for back and front. Here some idea. I blocked up the accumulators instead of re-routing http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showt...d.php?t=1495281
  6. Do an E28 odo's stop at 500,000 too like the early e34s? or is that just an old picture
  7. You'd probably be the minority . Could never live with one myself esp the dash
  8. No doubt the E39 handles and is faster etc but E34 feels alot more like a drivers car. Prefer the E34 mainly because you can get manual box fairly easy, more character with classic bmw looks & driver-centric controls and feels alot better built than e39(less sh*t plastics)

    E34 ergh

Had the exact same issue with my old 535i, ended up replacing the starter\solenoid. Id try bypassing the starter relay if u havent already
  10. Hate tossers pull this kind of sh*t
  11. Picked up my 535i manual for 1.6K, spent $500 on it and now it goes well.
  12. Glad i dont live or have to drive thru the city to get to work. I only use $60 a week in my E34 535i though it only takes me 10mins to get there.

Cheers all. Dont shoot usually ducks but will destroy some possums and rabbits instead. My birthday present, Westvleteren 12 $66 in a glass, some of best beer ever.
  14. Love towbars for that same reason hence most of cars have had them
  15. They dont like adapters
  16. Plenty on trademe. They use a serial port which most laptops have(although im not sure about new ones). Plently of older PC's have motherboards which you can add an serial port to and you can get usb>R232(serial port) adapters(dont really trust them myself) and PCI-E serial port cards if you dont have one.
  17. Way ive always bleed my M20 and M30's Block the overflow tube with finger Put mouth over the expansion tank( basically using your mouth to keep system pressurized and push air out ) Uncrew the bleeder and blow Helps if someone to check that no air coming out the bleeder but i find doesnt take many blows and you can always close the bleeder if you need a rest Bit weird but worked every time for me
  18. Same as me., i used to like them as well as was looking at buying one years ago but ending up getting an E34 in the end. Ive driven a few and they go ok for what they are but looking at the now they look like the usual toyota with no style.
  19. Just download it off torrents
