I put the genuine 3k bid on in attempts to restore it to its former glory. He'll probably he'll withdraw it again and if that the case will report him. I was bidding on this when it was 1st listed in Wellington by the previous owner, reserve was 3.5k then. Cost a bit to fix the mutilations.

I had 3.73 with my 325i but replaced it with a 3.64 due to bearing noise. Dont notice the difference at all. 3.64 & 3.73 are good alrounders. My 325i does 2500rpm in 5th at 100kph with the 3.64

Not sure about the thermostat didn't look, same thing happened with the old thermostat in so im pretty sure its right. Fan seems to work alright as good as an old fan does, if its anything like the E34\E32 you know when its on. Ill replace the sensor and hope that does it. thanks

My Temp gauge is reading just above the 1\4 mark while highway type driving, when left to idle slowly moves up & sits dead on 12 'o' clock position. I thought it was the thermostat so replaced it with a new one and still the same thing. Im thinking maybe coolant temp sensor is faulty?, any thoughts appreciated. Cheers

Just the rims by themselves or with tyres?

Ok. Tyres on the car are pretty crap atm just wanting new rims so can do the tyres at the same time

Hi Just brought my first E30(NZ '89 325i manual) which has the analog clock, was just wondering if you can drop in a full obc with out to much hassle like the E34's?. Also where abouts is the diff ratio number on the diff?, i cant seem to find any tags etc just what looks like a part number. Cheers

Being 94 id go Dexron III, seems to be what is recommended for the gm & zf transmissions of your era. I use III on my e34 and e32 You prob have the non dipstick trans but there should be a drain hole and a filler hole under the trans. Filler plug on the side somewhere and drain plug on the bottom you may of missed it, id imagine it would be small, allen key head Not to sure what you mean by getting to the rear speaker wires?, you can pry the rear speaker shrouds off and remove the rear speakers if that what you after

yeah great on trips, why i brought it. Tan colour is interior is nice best imo. Only 170k and well looked after as you can see so pretty of life left in her

'92. koni adjustables all round, 16's with New Toyo PX4's. Fitting my 3.64 LSD soon then im set. See why most of you recommend koni's, ride is brilliant.

my e34 used to surge sometimes when starting off in D or R, cleaned to ICV and the problem went again. Easy enough do do, get some throttle body\carb cleaner and you away

I have some spare E39 ones.

not to mention hardly get better fuel econ than say a 525i or 535i and nearly taking 2x the amount of time to get to 100km

Hi Just got me some new Toyo PX4's for my E34 and wanting new shocks all round to replace the kyb's which are wearing out. Not too sure what to get, what is the price difference between the 2?. I know the koni are worth more but are they worth it. Got king springs on atm Im in hamilton also, anyone know any decent retailers? Advice will be great thanks.
