bradi65 4 Report post Posted October 1, 2014 Bit new here hope im doing this right !! Replaced the slave cylinder on my e30 clutch last night, Getting the slave off was the easy part then i found that the connection to the slave from the hydraulic line was seized most likely been on there for 20+ years, used some LOCTITE freeze and release This stuff is awesome with some help from the vice grips it came right off !! Then after getting it all back together (sorry no pics of this part) i found i had a flat battery so off to work with my make shift universal battery charger and she should be full of life by tonight
sweetm3 180 Report post Posted October 2, 2014 Partially overhauled the rear brakes on the M3. New pads, sliders/pins and bushings. Still not broken in but I can already tell $140 pads are way better than the temporary $40 Repco jobs I had on there. New rear rotors an braided lines on the way from the US. Did mine two weeks ago Dave Had some of my next project arrive this morning

They are the M193 wheel as fitted to both coupe and sedan in M Sport form. The car is a factory M Sport manual. Brought it back with me when I moved home from London. Lots of them round over there. qube 3570 Report post Posted October 6, 2014 How did u manage that? Nail in tyre --> flat --> motorway driving?
scottbeattie 63 Report post Posted October 6, 2014 Had a slow puncture (I'm guessing) because that tyre slowly lost pressure over time. Noticed it looked a bit low on pressure at lunch, drove down the road to the bakery and halfway there it was quite noisy, got out and checked it at the bakery and it was completely flat. Only noticed how bad it was once it was off, luckily wasn't on the motorway. Needed new rears anyway! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
