What'd you do to your BMW today?

Recommended Posts

Drove it for the first time in 3 weeks. Gave it an italian tune up. Still brings a grin to my face.

Partially overhauled the rear brakes on the M3. New pads, sliders/pins and bushings.

Still not broken in but I can already tell $140 pads are way better than the temporary $40 Repco jobs I had on there.

New rear rotors an braided lines on the way from the US.

Did mine two weeks ago Dave

Had some of my next project arrive this morning :D:lol::P:rolleyes:

Removed bleeding bilsteins and replaced with shiny new konis. Marvelled at how nicely it corners again. Had a beer and felt good about myself :)

Thanks. They are the M193 wheel as fitted to both coupe and sedan in M Sport form. The car is a factory M Sport manual. Brought it back with me when I moved home from London. Lots of them round over there.

How did u manage that?

Nail in tyre --> flat --> motorway driving?

Had a slow puncture (I'm guessing) because that tyre slowly lost pressure over time. Noticed it looked a bit low on pressure at lunch, drove down the road to the bakery and halfway there it was quite noisy, got out and checked it at the bakery and it was completely flat. Only noticed how bad it was once it was off, luckily wasn't on the motorway. Needed new rears anyway!
