M3AN 4016 Report post Posted March 24, 2019 (edited) Yep, still spinning freely. I'll take the belt off anyway, it's just wasting ponies at this stage. Edited March 24, 2019 by M3AN

hunter 408 Report post Posted March 27, 2019 Purchased a roof basket for my Family road trip this weekend. It looks pretty long next to the car, at 1.6M, but should hold all the extras nicely.

E30 325i Rag-Top 2963 Report post Posted April 5, 2019 As suspected it was the clutch slave cylinder that was leaking on the ‘vert, tried to find a seal kit but ended up with a whole new slave at a reasonable price. Fitted new one and bled it all through last night. And now it’s pissing down, so still can’t drive the bloody thing, grr.
Young Thrash Driver 1020 Report post Posted April 6, 2019 Today I was trundling down the Tauranga Eastern Link when the 525i cut out. Odd, I thought. A bunch of cranking produced no joy but a very strong fuel smell. On opening the bonnet I found- of all things- the fuel line had come off at it's clip together junction! Also, @Allanw will be pleased to know- the clutch has fiiiinally started slipping! Woohoo! 1

Wow... no fire at least... You've got a LOT longer out of that clutch than I ever thought possible. It'll feel WAY better when it's done though... that bite point is way too high! Maybe you drive like a Nana???? Not the 4000rpm clutch slipping while reversing from the gargage kind either

dirtydoogle 383 Report post Posted April 6, 2019 On Thursday night in work X5 number 2 I exploded the turbo on the Napier-Taupo rd at 10pm towing a machine. So that was a bit dumb. The old dear has been having massive lag issues since it hit 400km and it's now at 455km. I told them so! 1

GorGasm 563 Report post Posted April 8, 2019 Chinese replacement air bag in the 535i blew up on the way home today. You get what you pay for I guess. I put the best of the two old ones back in to get it back on the road. Now I don't trust the other bag that is in there... The only upside is I am getting pretty fast at swapping out the bags. Battery in my M5 is also toast. Replacing sh*t for no gain is such a drag. Must be time for a Toyota or something.

GorGasm 563 Report post Posted April 9, 2019 Ah I should have said it was the suspension air bag It went pop and gangster low. Chinese replacements are super cheap, but it would seem the quality is questionable. 1
